I threw fits at every single message saying how this/that was cancelled because my awesome ending to this school year all went up in flames because of something that isn’t our fault. This has been a time of lots of sacrifices we had to regrettably make even though we didn’t want to, and one that came together so quickly without warning! This year needs to change because so far it’s been nothing but sad and bizzare. I mean that about everything from the weird weather patterns to this!

Bu tür eserleri dinleyenlerin bu hayatta mutlu olabileceğine inanmıyorum ben. ince düşünür, hislenir, hassas yüreği yapamaz fazla buralarda. ölüm var, acı var, yoksulluk var, kavga var. dışarısı soğuk, üşür sıcacık yürekleri. Bir gün yağmurun altında, karın altında toprağın altına koyulana dek üşür.. Sonsuza dek soğuduğu güne dek üşür de durur...

Perform this piece in the desert, on the mountain or anywhere else, the wildest animals come, put their heads on their knees and listen. However, people are breaking each other down without even realizing this beauty. If only we could say "we exist for each other, we exist to love and understand each other" in a common language, just as those sweet notes at the beginning of this beautiful piece tell us...

I heard that Chopin wrote this piece at 17 when his younger sister died. The second theme in the middle(1:47 - 3:20) does not feel that sad but reminiscent of childhood memory, blended with a taste of bitter sweet. If you ever heard the Cello play of this song, it gives another expression beyond what the piano could possibly achieve. With this, alongside Op. 9(No. 1 and No .2), which Chopin wrote when he was around 19 and his two piano concertos, also around that age, you kind of get a feel of the sensitivity of Chopin when he was at his late teen. I feel that Chopin at this stage, is just at the very beginning of his evolution of musicianship and his later works present far greater maturity and deeper sensibility and musicianship. Nevertheless, I treasure these early works just like you treasure the memory of your family members or close friends when they were young.

Gerardo Ruiz It is not. The cello, albeit unable to perform the same, hidden chords the piano plays, has this sound of the human voice, like the wail of a girl as the cellist defends the black ebony fingerboard with delicate fingers, mourning the loss of their inner beauty, perhaps as if their loved ones were watching, on earthly and heavenly dimensions. You don’t understand the power that a cello holds over a piano, which a piano can play the rest of an orchestra over a cello, as the cello plays the most delicate, amazing melodies such as this one with the sound of human voices, wailing their tones with exact notes, and at times imperfection that can be at times too close to vocalizing. In fact, when both instruments are combined, as shown time and time again, no one really needs high pitched instruments or a bass instrument; for both instruments have in common middle c in their middle register, meaning they can play both parts at once and thus are more successful to modern audiences. Don’t believe me? Watch ThePianoGuys or The Brooklyn Duo, they’re beautiful at this, and so are many others.

I've read that Chopin asked for his non published pieces to be burned after his death. Some of his posthumous works are my favourite (such as this piece and op 69 no 1 and 2). I'm glad we get to play them and enjoy them, but sometimes I felt guilty because I'm sure those pieces were very personal to him.
