  • A easy flat(ish)circular walk starting from Monyash village in the heart of the Peak District. The walk takes you along an ancient Roman road for two miles away from the village in the in the direction of the High Peak trail which you join for a short distance before heading to the village of Flagg before returning the village of Monyash.

    Lovely stuff
Particularly enjoyed the intro and the cheeky satire of Sheffield city council's cavalier attitude towards road maintenance 😂
And it would be remiss of me to not mention the lovely blue gators 😊
The wind issues from last week's episode seem to have been resolved as well. Good work

Really nice walk that. Did it a couple of times, once as a triple pub walk (monyash's pub, onto the Duke, and the Royal Oak, then back.)
Second walk was a less of a pub walk and more of a giant detour to find the donkey sanctuary.
Both times, had zero idea it was a Roman road. Great part of the world.
    "Day 47..." 😂😂😂😂

Hi Darren thank you for your comments. Not sure I could do a pub crawl like that these days lol. I spotted the donkey sanctuary towards the end of the Roman road as you reached the A515. It looks like it’s worth a visit next time. TFW
