  • Tokyo, Japan Travel Vlog. My first impression of Tokyo, Japan! I traveled to Japan for the first time and explore Tokyos top attractions& top places to see in Tokyo; Shibuya crossing, Senso-Ji Temple in Asakusa & Harajuku. I go vintage shopping at Tokyo's best second-hand store Chicago, I tired traditional ramen and Japnese sweets in Nakamise. I also share the cost of traveling Tokyo (prices of capsule hotel, food, transportation in Tokyo).

I've visited most of the big cities in the world, but only Tokyo is on a different level. To be more precise, Japan itself is a very peculiar place, just like any other planet outside of Earth. In a good way, of course. You'll feel it more if you visit different parts of Japan, not just Tokyo.

In the past, Tokyo has always been the most desirable Asian city for Shanghainese. Today Tokyo is also one of my personal favorite cities. But Shanghai has a huge advantage that Tokyo cannot compare with, that is, the park and green area in the center of Shanghai far exceeds that of Tokyo.

Tokyo has an advantage over other cities in Asia or elsewhere, in terms of city evaluation. You can also enjoy the nature in Mt.Takao which is located in Hachioji area.

然而你自由表达完之后,没有任何人会真正理你,这就是民主的虚伪性,比如东电公司为了自己的成本把核污染水排海。中国政府和人民跟你的区别是从来不会说自己是完美的、骄傲自满,而是低下去实际解决问题(However, after you express your freedom, no one will really care about you, which is the hypocrisy of democracy. For example, TEPCO dumping nuclear contaminated water into the sea for its own costs. Comparing Tokyo with Shanghai, the biggest disadvantage is that there are too few trees. As for the degree of development, in my opinion, the area is larger in Tokyo, but the high-tech applications in Shanghai are more extensive, because there are more than 300,000 Japanese in Shanghai alone. or more.

Shanghai is nowhere near the same level as Tokyo. Been to both in the last 4 months and was not that impressed by Shanghai despite all the economic growth it’s experienced in recent times. Sure there are some nice buildings here and there but the rest of the place just seemed old and not aesthetic. 2 months after visiting Shanghai, I revisited Tokyo again and it made me realise how huge and exciting Tokyo is (made Shanghai seem like a small town). But what really sets the two apart is the intangible. Tokyo has a vibe that excites you and makes you feel like a first world mega city, Shanghai doesn’t. Tokyo wins by miles

The biggest difference is not what you can easily see, but people and lifestyle. You never wanna live in a communist country without freedom regardless of how developed a city looks at first sight. People are not developed enough in the country. No manners and lack of morality cause nosiness, dirtiness and cloud with chaos.
