He's a proven choker. He can't get it done. As 49er fan for 40 years, I say he needs to go. Not running on 3rd down to either melt an additional 40 seconds off the clock or forcing KC to burn a timeout is the dumbest call in Super Bowl history. I knew the outcome of the game as soon as the PAT was blocked, and this moment sealed it their fate.

I've been waiting to put this out there I've been a niners fan from the 80s so I'm a little biased so bare with me I've been hearing everybody's opinions and nobody is right or wrong so here's my take!! It's a long one😂
I think the coach should take a lot of the blame if they lose but the problem is he blames Jimmy g, but he's gone, he blames trey lance well he's gone he blamed Steve Wilkes well he is now gone!! Wilkes wasn't my favorite dc I liked demeco, but here's what I saw in the Superbowl the first was the fumble by CMC, can't make any mistakes in the Superbowl, but it didn't cost them, the defense played good for most of the game but at the end that prevent zone defense had a lot of holes and people were left open, there should maybe have been a spy on mahones on D, the next the offense sputtering in basically a lot of the game was do to shanahan bad play calling and not using his playmakers when it mattered most!! He seems to throw instead of run at the biggest games at the wrong time!! He's made this mistake over and over but thinks he's never wrong big flaw in his character!! And yes he can win games in regular season and he's won a couple NFC championships but in Superbowls he's never won once!! He has an all star team or some say the avengers😂 yet can't seem to manage a game properly specifically a Superbowl game the last 4 years and if you want to add OC with falcons in that Superbowl!!, I think he's probably an OC but they need a coach who knows how to win the big one and maybe demote him to OC!!! He hasn't really learned from his mistakes thus he doesn't think he makes mistakes so there is in lies the problem he will never improve because he never looks in the mirror and says it was on him!!!!
Sorry back to the Superbowl they didn't get any points on those turnovers but shanny blames the defense but no that is on his offense!! It looks like some of the players are sick of his antics (aiyuk) and maybe others in that locker room, sadly this might be the last shot with such talent but under achieve!! The 49ers make changes in players and yet still haven't won but the coach is still there making the same mistakes in the Superbowl, and yes I know it's hard to win the Superbowl but when we used to win 5 and score 55 points in 2 different Superbowls and now we've lost 3 bill Walsh was way better at controlling the whole team and shanahan is not and when will the special teams learn to block a field goal or punt I can't remember seeing that lately!! And others say well they went up against mahones and Reid, but they've been beaten in a Superbowl before if I'm not mistaken just checked and it was the Patriots with Brady who we should have gotten when we had the chance yet another blunder by the niners😢 anyway I've ranted enough hopefully you enjoyed my rant if not sorry I can't make everyone happy😂 C YA and go niners!!

Purdy had a wide open touchdown to #11 ...the defender fell down. lamar or josh allen wouldve made the escape and the throw. ...saying that i like purdy, hes proved many wrong this year.
