It was interesting but not surprising to me that the white woman initially felt that hair was the most challenging part of having mixed children, but the Black woman first thought about safety and society
Yes! Her children may be biracial but are also Black in America. Keeping them physically safe and mentally sound from racism and ignorance is way more pressing.

Yeah she's way better than most people including myself because I'm a black man and if I did have a white girlfriend and I hear that her co-workers don't like me because I'm black, I'm saying F them and everything about them plus more
She is right though, unless they really have several screws missing. She is so funny and would be fun to have around. She would most likely have them laughing before they realise they didn't like her. She cracks me up. I had to watch this over several times since i laughed so hard.

So your saying Black men with Black women can't??
You sound like someone who likes to segregate black women from black men and glorify that with black women being with white men something special. Because of white privilege and media conditioning it feels refreshing for you even though historically Black men and women were oppressed by the whites and later on deprive them of education, studies, employment.
Now you want to promote this Black women with White man propaganda and to make it look like its a good thing even though many White men engaged in domestic violence with White women?
I agree. They felt very comfortable, felt very confident with themselves, and didn’t feel like they’d be having any negative talks afterwards.

I’m thinking his previous partner (they’ve been together a long time so I’m assuming they were young and inexperienced and he didn’t have a lot to compare it to) was just meh? Also, guys prefer different things. If they don’t communicate what they like, how would you know? Same for women. I am now comfortable with telling partners what I like they they don’t fumble around . A previous partner could have like something done one way, which I don’t like. Each person is different. When you are sexually compatible, it’s great! 😅. But not everything

Why do his co-workers feel comfortable commenting on the race of his girlfriend? That's super weird.
Sometimes people do it as a power play. Aggressively assertive & inappropriate statements made out of nowhere are a challenge to others. Who will dare correct them? It’s more likely people will quietly tolerate it, which then normalizes the behavior.
It might not explicitly be about her race, but they might still make comments because of her race, if that makes sense. I'm currently in my first interracial relationship, and people seem a lot more comfortable commenting on his attractiveness than they did when I dated white guys ... I always get the vibe that they say that because they find his race less attractive even if they don't explicitly say so.

😂 I said not Sunday sis 😂
What I noticed from this video when I myself am currently in an interracial relationship is how much the family side of the things can affect the partner. On my end, I am Hispanic, and my partner is white. She constantly asks me if my family accepts her since she's the only white person in the family now. I wish she understood how much my family loves her, but I can also understand that the stigma behind it all can make her feel unsure/doubtful.
I mean, in general, you want your partner's family to be accepting of you if you want a future together, but I think when there's that racial/ethnical jump, that unconscious fear of not being accepted gets magnified because there's larger cultural gaps...and with cultural gaps usually come differences in values and beliefs. people generally aren't flexible about their values and beliefs once they are older.
I feel her pain. Except his mom is constantly throwing jabs and shade at me. She once asked about my tattoo and used me as a learning lesson for her other child. Saying her daughter should never get a tattoo. That’s just one example. She’s asked who’s house is better. Hers or my parents. It’s actually so sad for me bc I will never be the Latino catholic doctor she wants him to marry. Thankfully my boyfriend is very good to me and makes me feel better!
I get the opposite feeling from my wife’s family, she’s black and I’m white, tho it’s eased up a lot over the years especially after she gave birth to our first son. When we first got together her brother and sisters, hell even her father were saying “she’d run straight into the arms of a master.”
@@maddimathews1834You're destroying her dream for her son. She wants her Latina daughter in law and adorable Latina/o grand babies. He should be ashamed choosing a white woman over his own women. His poor mother...

Exactly
I want all the couples answering ALL the questions
The hardest thing of raising biracial children is making sure that they'll embrace both sides of the family. Make sure that they don't feel like they have to choose and are proud of being exactly who they are. I agree with the difference between white moms raising half back children vs black moms with half white children and I have a white mom.
There's not much of a difference though.
When my kids were in grade school (late 80’s early 90’s) the school secretary called and told me the kids had to choose one race on their forms they couldn’t be marked down as both Asian and Caucasian. I told her I would not make them choose, it was ridiculous that they hadn’t changed the form for more than one race being noted ( we had a number of mixed kids in our neighborhood ) and that if I found out she changed it we were going to have a problem.
Our kids lives are richer for coming from two different races and cultures.

I wish there were more questions about the positive aspects of interracial relationships. Dating people from different races (and in my case they were from different nationalities as well) made me learn so much about their cultures, it opened new cultural spheres to me, made me learn new languages, got me more interested in geopolitics or history and eventually made me understand the world much better. Also, it forces you to communicate on a new level : cultural shocks can create misunderstanding, so you're becoming much better at expressing what you feel and how you think to prevent those. Especially if you're not speaking in your mother tongue with your partner.
For those reasons I'm thankful for all my past international relationships, even the not-so-good ones.
I loved the video anyway ! (The black woman and white guy couple is amazing haha)
Agree! I’m in an interracial relationship, and I feel lucky it is overwhelmingly positive. Cultural differences aren’t always easy to navigate but they aren’t negative either.

Bree is so freaking cute and the laugh is adorable!!! 🖤💚🖤
LOL! This is one of the best in a while. The Black woman (Brie?) had me laughing from the get-go. Definitely go to his company picnic, you’re absolutely right that you are easily lovable lol.
All of these folks are so funny and charming... Great video! 👍🏻

she seemed lowkey misinformed 😭😭
@@belovednarrativesto be fair, she just doesn't care. So what she fucked up the day? She did say that she is not into all of that 🤷🏽♂️
Obviously, she made a mistake. She knows it’s Friday. People DO make gaffes.
