MYSTERY DOOR RATTLE... FIXED! EASY and FREE - 2006 Nissan Xterra

- Sometimes we don't know what our car's problem is, this was one of those times! Thankfully it was an easy and free fix. In this video I show how I went about finding and fixing a mysterious rattle in the front passenger door of my 2006 nissan xterra. Turns out the top part of the mounting bracket for the window weatherstrip had come undone.

Good work, Moe! Good time to do the sound deadening on the ole X! Nice intro to the video! I won’t attempt this right now as the ambient temp is around 36 degrees and the plastic is brittle. Looks like a warm weather project. Glad you fixed the issue! So simple!

Have this happening in my Frontier rn. Was it’s rattling when you would go down the road and hit bumps? I’m gonna tear into mine this weekend. Hopefully this is the fix I’ve been looking for

@@_moes_garage_ I just finished it and took it down the road. Sure enough that was the problem. This video is a lifesaver. My truck is a 2020 pro4x btw. That was the most annoying sound in any vehicle I’ve owned
@goodguywilk hey that's awesome! Yeah it was super annoying on my 2006 Xterra! I was shocked when I first discovered the issue. Seems like it was a factory issue because it didn't look like the vapor barrier was ever removed. Anyway, glad this helped!💪
