I really respect how Richard left on a good note with this deal. Really kind of shows the real him versus the TV mandated drama. Keep it up , and I hope to be back by the shop soon !
The dude with the trucks got to show off his collection, Richard makes a video... win win!
Richard saying those are $2500 trucks is pretty harsh, most would still be a great deal even at double that. Still cool getting to see all of them.
Thats what I was thinking.
I'm no expert, but damn, new & used trucks are higher than hell right now.
Old beauties like those....maybe the market is different down south.
The first one, the Ford with 350 etc is a $15K truck easy. All the others are in that range too.
Yeah, It's like pawn stars. It's worth 15 to 20k Richard Best I can do is 2500. Where I live if one of those is up for sale and it runs and the body is kinda ok it's easily 7 to 10k.
Ehh idk I live in Fort Worth and can find them all day for $3000. Remember where you live will always vary on price, here in TX trucks or cars from 50s to early 70s are dime a dozen and very cheap.
@@matthewfield7028 Could be. I’d still be surprised if you were able to find even a field find early 50s Chevy P/U in near drivable condition for $3k, even in DFW area. Out here in CA where shit doesn’t stink everyone thinks their old junk is “It’ll buff out” gold.
That obs f350 in the back ground 😍 yes sir
Blue thunder
That piece of ####. Maybe if you threw a VP 12v in it, it would be worth messing with. Otherwise, its good for doing exactly what it's doing now.
7.3 probably
4 door
We know we know, have a beer and go sit in your chevy we will find your transmission soon
@@michael1honor289 I have a obs 97 7.3 dual turbo setup love my truck wish it was 4 door
I like how you left off on a good note instead of pissing him off with low ball offers. Good job
no when to hold em know when to fold em
Can't buy 'em all! Better to leave on a good note and maybe buy them later on down the road
@@GasMonkeyGarage Maybe 12k for all of them. Too much work to be done.
@@GasMonkeyGarage Agree on leaving on a good note and maybe buy them later on down the road so very true.
@@GasMonkeyGarage He may think about what you said and call you with better prices, when he needs the money. It is best to leave on good terms for future business.
@Richard Rawlings I'm always enjoying all the content you put up whether if it's food or nice vehicles that you go to check out but what I like the most is that you can put out a video anytime you want and your not on nobody's schedule but your own.
Well he isn’t of the discovery schedule anymore, so no more “deadlines”🕰
I’d love to find trucks like that for 2500.00 I’d buy 3-4 and flip 2-3 to fund most of the costs to build and keep one. He drove off with none so obviously trucks like that don’t sell for 2500.00.
Already know Raza loves them old trucks. 🇲🇽
Ive been really down recently, my best friend wont talk to me and idk why, i have the stress of school, and im a but down, I remember watching his show fast and loud as a you g kid, so i got on amazon prime video and just started rewatching it all over again and man can i say his show is really helping keep somewhat “positive” it’s distracting me from thinking about everything goin on and the stress and it gives me something to look forward in my day, Thank you so much to the guys at gas monkey and Richard if i didnt find your show fast n loud on prime video it would make everything im going through right now so much harder, thank yall!!!!
Awh man, I feel you. I'm in a similar circumstance and it's nice to escape sometime with great TV. Wishing you all the best & keep your head up! ✌️
350 chevy don't have the distributor in the front of the engine.
I don't even think it's a GM motor, maybe a 351 Windsor motor, the valve cover bolt pattern looks like a Ford
All Chevy motors have rear distributor
I was a huge fan of Fast N Loud but I am digging the more candid footage on this You Tube stuff ! Diggin the Coffee Walk stuff Dennis is doing as well ! Keep it up Trip !
The moment he said he had been collecting for 5 years i knew shit was going to be expensive..
With the exception of pricing I wonder if Richard was just saying ok and uh huh to every pause in jose speaking cuz his accent is so thick is hard to understand a word he said
I was thinking more in the line of "who's going to finish laundering this guy's "money"?" 🤭
No kidding..... only 5 years at it and has that much stuff... was gonna say “quality stuff “ but I didn’t get a close enough look .... they certainly look good but looks can be deceiving....
@@FluffyFerretFarm exactly, and he had 3 different locations with the same amount of “pieces “ he called them
, at that point your just putting your money somewhere other than the bank
he would just sold 6-7 trucks in 15k
Amazing how they are so rust clean. Closer to the coast, they would be plant mulch by now.
The 41 and the 29 the only trucks I would pick from that lot.
At those prices?
Your millenials are doing a good job! Love the quality of this one 4k sharp and focused! Keep it up!
Thank you!
I have to agree with ya!! I think this is the first set of millennials I’ve seen anywhere in the country so far that’s turned out to be worth a hoot for anything!!
Well done millennials!! (Please don’t let it go to your heads tho!! Y’all have a promising career if you keep your heads against the grindstones!)
@@GasMonkeyGarage you should’ve responded thank you - the millennials Highly doubt this is Richard on here replying
All they need to learn is positioning for the shot. That'll come with experience.
I love all those old cars and trucks
Love those 2 bugs & that mini
I drooled when i saw the split window bug... best one on the lot
thanks for sharing prices unlike dennis colins keeping it a secret!!
They were selling those OG Minis here in the UK until 2000. That one’s an 87/88 being on an ‘E’ plate
There are quite a few in Mexico as well, if anybody wants to come and get them.
It's also not a "Cooper", they have twin tanks
@@andyb7963 Thats only the original S from the 60s. This is a late 80s version.
It’s funny how the Americans think all minis are mini coopers 🙂
@@sjv6598 probably because nearly all millennial Minis are a Cooper or Cooper S. John Cooper is probably turning in his grave!
He's getting that thick body bird legs situation wrapped up
Lmaooooooooooo
Man your vision for cars is such sight to be seen only been watching about 3 months but the way you conduct everything is such an inspiration. What I'd give to be able to come over and check out the shop
C'mon by! We have tons of people stop on by the shop every day
@@GasMonkeyGarage I wish I could but I'm from the UK so would have to be a holiday trip but definatlly one for the bucket list
GREAT 👍 VIDEO 📹 ...I just love 💘 the fact that Richard Rawlings is doing 👌 More Food Reviews ...Keep on TRUCKING ..he's the proper 👌 SMOKIE AND THE BANDIT..Happy Days 😊
This is really nice to see it’s more real and I like it simply without all the silly captions just a day in the life of Gas Monkey. Maybe have one of your millenniums do some filming of a project being worked on would be cool
Beautiful trucks,,, my fav probably the first one, the green black hooded one. Lots of trucks for a five year collection!
Got a company to run, nice to see you walk... He'll be calling
Spoiler alert!!!!!
Man I want some of those trucks
Get you some of that!. 🍻
That 37 Plymouth truck.... Looked sweet from front. Cool year.
Never seen so many old trucks at one time I understand Richard's frustration
Love the split window bug...and the 56 Ford truck, of course it needs a Ford coyote engine and some paint!
Great video learned how to get out of that situation the nice way. Good job Richard.
Great job guys quality excellent focus on every detail love the video from Milwaukee Wisconsin 👌 👍 👏 🙋🏻♂️🇭🇳
Nice old trucks. So many 👏 , personally I'm not crazy about the conversions, only stock for me
Beautiful, Gold Mine...all semi Finnish projects. Go Gas M Richard! RAIRN'T
Another great video! Love the car and truck “hunts”
Richard rawlings in tha House woop woops much love and respecto brotha 💯 🙏
Good videos Richard..keep them coming!
One of the trickiest aspects of the trade is explaining the difference between wholesale and retail to the average person. With all the fees and regulations the government keeps piling on it's tough to keep the lights on when your just making friends.
None of us need friends that bad chas, know what I mean buddy!
Wow, some really nice trucks.
It's a lot of cool trucks I dropped that little mini though many be fun to play with the truck so cool cuz he got all different can't wait to see what's going to happen good video
Thank You Richard & the millennials & Gas Monkey Garage. I'm so happy to see y'all happy and not having someone tell you what you can say & do. I want to come to Dallas and stop by and meet all of y'all and would also like to stop by Dennis Collins shop and meet them. I have to say since watching you it has motivated me to want to start doing all the work to my car and fixing it up to where I can make a trip and also put it in car shows. I have to say that my car is about 65% done. It's a foreign car but it's one and only with original mileage and also was a one owner vehicle only driven by a female it's entire life until I bought it. Well let me stop yacking. Thanks Gas Monkey Garage #BEERASSISTANT#.
Nice older trucks. Bet they most likely will keep on sitting there. Which is sad, but so goes life. Thxs for the video tho I love seeing old steel. 🍺
Won’t sit there long since they are building 16 houses on that lot! The price will drop daily till he gets serious about selling them. Unfortunately for him, they will never be worth more than they are today and tomorrow that could be $500-$1,000 less than today so the sooner he deals, the more money he’ll get
WOW these trucks are unbelievable holy geezes
You should really come check out the cars and trucks on our Arizona Reservations. Amazing stuff, and all dry. Salt River Pima Maricopa and Fort Apache will blow your mind.
The Mini was made down the road from me in Longbridge UK till 2000. They only really stopped as it took too much man power to make so wasn't cost effective
And it's not a Cooper, they have twin tanks
@@andyb7963 never noticed that Tbh. Most shows from the USA call every mini a Cooper, when it's just a mini city, Mayfair, Kennington or one of many other editions.
Nice little car's
@@andyb7963 coopers don’t have twin tanks, Cooper s’s do. And even then not all of them. There’s so much false information in these comments………
My favorite of all of these is the Mini Cooper!
Being from the UK I was very surprised to see a proper mini in his field but I wouldn't keep it there for long because it will just rust away to nothing 😂👍
I dig the white beetle. I want a C10 one day, or at least a 50’s pick em up truck.
What's a pick em up truck
@@gregstites9109 🤣
Опять!???! Кландайк!!! Золото!!! Бриллианты!!!❤❤❤😊
That mini is a 1987 was last mot'ed in England in march 2009 with 77k on the clock its still on the database 👌
I’m drooling. These are really nice 👍🏼
Great vlog. Keep them coming brother 👍👍
Crazy prices you did the right thing
Guy is stuck with all that inventory now he can't unload it so he's going to have to pay for storage 😂
Great video 💯👍🏽
Beautiful trucks
I just picked up a pretty clean 89 D150 gonna fix up and make a cruiser out of it. You inspire me.
I put claims on the 40, 41 Fords and '37 Plymouth... Load them up, and ship 'em to my place in Ky.
dang Richard looking like mr T on your hand lol
Original mini from England! Richard was surprised at 1989 - they actually continued making them like that until 2000!
Jose was checking them tatts, bet he's been locked up a time or 2 lol.
I just saw big rich driving the other day in the Trx. Dallas, TX Baby!
The E Reg mini blew my mind, 1988 was in great nick
87 mini Mayfair.
@@rayquirk4947 cheers 4 that
Love this new platform brother
I like how you tryed to help him out with the mini 😉
That little international looked badass. 👍
How can you ignore that little classic mini. Must be the first one I've seen in an American TV show. Big Chris would love that car.
"E registration plate" on that Mini means that will be August 1987 to July 1988
Didnt they make that shaped mini till the 2000s
@@garywilson331 Yeah, late 90s. Went up to X reg I believe which is '99
@@jameswatts6787 that's amazing I thought they stopped in the 60s
This fella is quite a collector. I am very impressed.
Cool buy them
Love ya rich .keep on trucking buddy
That’s some Mr Miyagi sh** right there. I mean that as the guys got a lot of cool stuff that really just needs a good buff out aaaand it’s just sitting in his yard.
Lol man exactly
For real.
Omg that 1954 Ford 🔥
These trucks r hella 🔥
The Mini is showing a UK registration plate E11 JLH, the 'E' designates it was registered between August 1987 and August 1988, the 'LH' part tells you it was registered in London.
Old school got that heat with the cars 🚗
Those trucks are cool. Wish i could find a 54 Ford like that. Im a gm guy but love those 54-56 fords.
1:07 "350". No, that's a Windsor.
I would love to have several of those vehicles, but DAMN!
I find it really fascinating how people place value on items. Yes we can see the potential but the raw cash to get it there is the problem. But you can't win them all. I really appreciate your candiru on time is money and even workspace. I really liked your garage rehab that you filmed and even that tells alot about what people value even when there is Zero dollar value in it... Hope to see a build soon please. What happened to the SEMA car you where building. I am not on all the social media platforms as it takes up too much time... Have a great weekend and be safe.
Good vid!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍
Really nice collection
And that folks is why he has had 15+ on hand for a while!
The first Hood Richard opened up he called the engine at 350 LOL..
yeah 302.......that guy has a bunch of hopped up rods,so how many were stolen. some have titles? why only some. got 15 more ,got 30 more? yeah sometins fishy .
Did it have a 350 or a 302? A lot of people put Chevy engines in these old trucks.
@@mexicanspec nope they were all Ford motors can tell by where the distributor is at
When he say 11 I was thinking dollars 😂
Great show
I like that blue F350! Where you gonna find an F1 running for 5 grand? ! Gas MOnkey I guess lol
In California the classic truck market is crazy. Sellers are asking $5000 for NON running rollers without titles. I use to buy complete running trucks with titles for $2500 or less.
1970s we use to buy them in running condition for $3 - 400.
Gosh damn those vehicles are beautiful
The guy with deep pockets just walked without making offers so this guy needs to find the perfect sentimental end user for those prices or re-evaluate.
Rollins it also a cheap skate when it comes to buying, I watched the show a lot. I'm not patronizing you, it is just that I am used to hearing him try to get the lowest possible price from the person selling when he bought the cars on the show.
Don't sell to a flipper that wants to double his money.
What a gold mine !!! 🤯🤘🏻
Just a quick note on the mini.... It was still in the UK on 5th March 2009 when it passed its annual MOT (which it had failed 2 days earlier). It looks like it was then sold on 23rd March 2009. Also it was first registered 14 December 1987, so would have been built before then.
Guy played the same game.. hard to negotiate, plus this trucks going up in value.. rust buckets in some models bring in 13 gs.. I had a 54 F150 flat head 4 on the floor I great condition.. paid 150 bucks in 78.. also sold it for 300 bucks two year later and got a 57 Belair which I still have
Damn, all slick rides
I love how all these Discovery channel shows are realizing there’s better money n CZcams and you don’t have to produce a shitty cookie cutter discovery show or deal with discovery incorporated at all.
Yes, discovery has become a shit channel!
@@dodgeguyz out right ruined the RoadKill and the other MT shows
Man... everyone looking at the trucks an me wishing he would've looked at the split window bug... 😆
Why would someone spend so much money to let them sit in a yard and do nothing its crazy to me lol
Filling a hole in their life with things they couldn't have in their youth. Some do that with cars and others with other items.
Waste
hell i like your youtube videos better then the tv show
Great vid.
The Mini is an '87. First registered in the UK 14 Dec 1987.
Last registered for use on a UK road on 5 March 2009 (with 77,352 miles).
Mini looks cool
