I have heard the original version of the song "A Whole New World', although I am not a singer, I believe Mori and Christian's cover of the song is a rearranged version. I think it is a better version. I am, particularly, a Mori fan. To me she is the best of this generation.
That incomparable Morissette tone! I just read that the last song was espcially written for her to promote Disney +'s Philippine launch. I don't usually listen to this type of music, but just hearing it being sung by Mori made me sit up and listen. I find it strange that I kinda liked the tune. Enjoyable revies, as always, man. 👌

Disney couldn’t go wrong choosing Mori for the grand finale.
Someone observed that in the end this show is just an advertisement for the launch of Disney+ in the Philippines (quite expensive, but obviously Disney just have to make things big).
However, the fact that they chose Mori may be important for two reasons
First of all, a multinational like Disney plan its strategies years in advance and its executives know that they must be well present in the market of the Indo-Pacific countries, an area with hundreds of millions of inhabitants that will grow drammatically in the next decades
Second, they will need some Asian stars for this strategy, so we can hope that Mori will start in the front row in this competition
