Bought the bag. Thank you. Also about the plugged ears. While the plane is taking off or landing when the stuffed eats happen, just move your jaw around and wait until its in the air or on the ground. Always works for me.

For everyone worried that a thief can simply steal the whole bag...there are steel wires embedded in the straps, making it slash proof. You would wrap the one side of the strap around a fixed structure, like a table or chair. When you attach the strap back to the bag, you can lock it with a small lock. It's not meant to be the greatest theft proof bag, rather a deterrent. I use this for college. When I go to the restroom while studying in the library I simply secure the bag to the table. No one in the library is going to be able to steal it

That said. $160 isn't a crazy amount for good bags. I have a number of military grade bags and they're all between $100-200. It's not like this thing is Gucci or something.
If you're paying less than $100 for a bag... you're likely using a Jansport or the equivalent. Which is fine for many people. If you want quality, you pay for it. I personally don't put my $1,000 ipad in a $30 bag from Walmart..

Just bought one in 2017. People say just steal the bag.smh 1st of all, anything can be stolen. This bag is meant ward off pickpckets and lurkers that wait for you to put your bag down and strike. If you were in an airport and used the uncuttable strap to secure the bag to a chair built into the floor, you could go to sleep and your bag would be safe. You can put actual locks on all the zippers. A thief cut not cut the strap off, cut the bag open, or unzip the bag. Taking the bag would be kinda impossible using the strap.

If you need a backpack for stuff like a console and a laptop, Everki makes really great backpacks. I can fit my Xbox One ( and all it's cords, controller, and games) and my laptop (15", although when I had a 17" laptop, it fit as well, but it was much tighter) extremely well. Plus, it doesn't look big a bulky like to many other spacious backpacks.

I have 2 Pac Safe bags and love them. I also have their wallet which can be tethered inside. When you're traveling lots overseas in countries where pick pocketing and bag slashing is a big concern I certainly feel less so.

A nice bag with some very nice security features (I like the mag-zipper lock). However, bags that won't stand up on there own are annoying for one handed access from the floor: beside the desk; under the desk, out of peoples way.
