@@Cat-ll2jw The cycle is the entire phase from the beginning of your period to the beginning of the next one lasting 28 to 35 days, your period is from the first day of bleeding to then last day of bleeding lasting 3-5 (sometimes longer). Huge difference.

You don't "have to" there are these things called pads. Why is everyone acting like tampons are the only thing we have. Excuse the rest of us ladies who would rather not stick one of those up there and pull it out 8-14 times a week. Not all women are starched enough to where it doesn't hurt. Plus why do we insist on letting and encouraging young women and little girls to stick something up there it's just so wrong in my opinion. If you old enough to know what you want go ahead and use a tampons but really young girls don't need this.
