I ❤ this. I agree with not telling people your goals. I made the mistake by telling people my goals and people put me down and told me I can't accomplish them. I have proved people wrong and I've accomplished them. Now they hate me even more that I've accomplished them.
At least now you know the people you can’t trust. But I completely agree with you, I’ve also made the same mistake in the past and now I rarely tell people my goals. I feel better this way ☺️
@pagangamer87 it's always easier said than done. But it could be that your too hard on yourself? Maybe instead of beating yourself have a system of praise when you do something towards your goal and be more forgiving when you don't. Even if you only get 1% better its still 1% Hope this helps

Remove distraction - have a list of things that distract you, a List of people that don't make you feel good, and a list of energy drainers and energy accelerators, take your journal and ask yourself - when do I get distracted and if I am being honest with myself, what do I feel right before I cave into distraction? 4. Find mentors, people who can help you. Surround yourself with people like that online - follow such people, read more, listen to podcasts, etc. 5. Please be careful with your time. You can break down your goals into tasks to get closer to your goals. 6. Ask yourself this - what is the highest and best use of my time right now? 7. Create a daily routine. wake up and say - today's gonna be a great day and take your journal and write why it is going to be a great day, your intention and your whole day plan. - Have a simple gratitude list at the end of the day. - Listen to a visualization meditation and imagine your life. 8. Have a life audit once a week or daily recall. 9. Switch up your environment. 10. Set milestones and celebrate yourself.
What if the people who distract or neg you and bring you down live with you by necessity (income, relation or something else), or you have to be their legal carer or guardian? What then?
As someone older and with more experience.... Make sure to not isolate from loved ones, keep in touch, they are 80% of your life purpose. Cut Instagram, superficial stuff, entertainment, blah blah, keep tabs with your people. The rest will come together
I’m going through this now, I think my friends and family are getting offended but I feel more productive when I’m focused on my own thoughts, goals and feelings.
@@tanvisinghpilania1767 they haven’t seen me in a while not even on thanksgiving , so I think it looks bad but keeping my distance makes me feel safe and comfortable
I’ve been doing this for several months, self isolating from particular people or vibes and most importantly, using that time for self-care and healing activities instead. It’s been beautiful and I’m not done yet. Don’t be afraid to do it longer than a month! Real change takes time.
I am going to follow this self-isolation plan for the next month today is Dec 2nd and I'll come back on January 3rd to let you know how the month went, wish me luck ✨

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my CZcams channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,312 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Wow this couldn’t have come at a better time.. I’ve been trying to get back to being confident in my body before 2024 but it’s been a struggle so I’m for sure taking up this challenge
so excited to join in on the challenge! as someone who has a hard time focusing on one area in their life, this will be such a great exercise to end the year and teach me to focus on one task at a time to see actual growth. thank you!

Finally, someone saying to not tell others your goals. ❤ This is key. Of course there are people around us who vary from friends, colleagues, etc. Even outside of haters, people just change the vibe of things and often bring their own insecurities to your goals, therefore not sharing is the way. Also, it’s amazing how others take this as an opportunity to tell you why you can’t do x, y, z.

I understand what you mean with the second point but in some ways ig it's really good to tell people about your goals. Just because they can motivate and remind you that you have the goals. Like they write you sometimes and ask if you did the thing that is your goal. You know what I mean? I think telling people about your goals can be really helpful!

i'd like to add a slightly contrasting opinion on the dont share your goals point. i personally share my goals with very close people like my parents. it kind of acts like the accountability buddy method because my parents always remind of my goal and motivate me to work harder when i am slacking so they act as accountability buddies.
