Exceptional treatment of this wonderful song. This is a textbook example of how a well-crafted song (lyrics and melody fitting together like hand in glove) does not not high production, just simple instrumentation and a vocalist who sings in tune and does not waiver from the written melody. So, props to Rebecca for making this very moving live rendition available to all on CZcams.
Thank you Art- I’m actually working on an acoustic album right now. Very stripped back. I haven’t done something like this for a long time. It’s exciting.
Love your music and your films. Saw you first in The Spanish Prisoner with Steve Martin. Love your face, too. By the way, we used to, when we were very young, to to the Pasadena Ice House to see a folk singer named Tim Morgon and, for whom, Steve Martin used to open. Martin was always a very nice man. We saved a little movie made in 1965 filmed at a folk club he used to perform at also named The Prison of Socrates. The film, or part of it, is up at CZcams (it's called Dirty Feet).
Beautiful. One of my favorite songs. Heard it during the credits for the Phil Spector film. Went on a mission to track it down on internet then ITunes. Couldn't get anymore tender.
I heard Rebecca do this song before. It's too bad that the engineer in this performance had no idea how to handle it. Really sad to my ears. To be fair, though, a very difficult song, let alone adding the crazy guitar! Still...she does has an ethereally beautiful version on her albums.

Yes!!! Simple production. That beautiful voice and phrasing. Thank you.

@@rebeccapidgeonmusic I nearly wore out my copy of “The Raven”. And “Spanish Harlem” was my test track for any new audio gear.
Ah really? Gosh thanks for telling me I’m so glad.
Boy, is she special. Love her album "The Raven," but really everything she does is special, and she can act.
beautiful Rrebecca!!!!
I only knew her for being an actress, but she makes pretty good music too.
This is beautiful, from Chile My country is fear, never more.
The voice of this woman makes me want to cry... is beautiful and suite!
amazing voice clear as a bell sweeter than honey ... I prefer the audio on the studio version ... but it is nice to see Rebecca !

Click if you heard this song when tuning the SQ audio gear (Y) or making sure the stage height and width are correct ;)

I love you, Rebecca
Pretty singer...!
Precioso. Me encanta tu trabajo como actriz, pero como cantante me quito el sombrero y te beso la mano
