Wow amazing video!!! How do you get the speedometer and times on the video?
Leuke video man! Mooi om in de reacties te lezen dat sommige mensen het beter weten terwijl ze zelf nooit verder zijn geweest dan hun lokale indoorkartbaan. Wordt altijd zwaar onderschat hoe moeilijk 'echt' karten is. Een heel veld van 30 rijders binnen 1 sec qua rondetijd waardoor dus alles moet kloppen.

Ikzelf heb ook van 2008 t/m begin 2014 bij de Chrono gereden. Begonnen in de minimax en gestopt bij de senioren met als hoogtepunt een weekend overwinning in Oss. Mis het nog steeds elke dag en daarom een advies: GENIETEN.
Pas jaren nadat je gestopt bent kom je er pas achter hoe bijzonder het is wat je eigenlijk aan het doen bent.

Hey Rick! Ik ben helaas ook gestopt door al die lockdowns. We hadden het geld niet meer om het te kunnen doen. Het klopt inderdaad dat je naderhand ziet wat voor prachtige sport het is en hoe groot deel van je leven het is. Het was daarom ook best pittig voor ons toen het ineens zo uit ons leven werd gerukt. Jij in ieder succes bij de Chrono aankomende keer!
@@RedExions Oh dat is inderdaad minder, wel plannen om weer te beginnen wanneer het financieel weer toelaat of?
Ik ga alleen kijken aankomende Chrono wedstrijd, ik kart al ruim 7 jaar niet meer en ben inmiddels heel wat kilo's zwaarder dus dat karten wordt niks meer haha.

Helemaal waar wat je zegt! Echt grappig ik heb dus eerst Honda kadet gereden. daarna Rotax max minimax, junioren, senioren. En gestopt toen ik 18 werd (dat was in 2012). Heb heel lang bij Van der Pol gereden. Momenteel ben ik een Opel Astra F gsi aan het opbouwen voor Rally rijden. Heel tof om dit terug te zien. Groetjes, Kevin de Rooij
Where and how do you mount your gopro, and what settings do you use, it looks great but I can't capture my whole wheel with where I have it.
Hey, we used a sticky mount on the cooler, and the settinngs are Superview and stability turned on
@@RedExions does the sticky mount point straight, and do you use anything else to support it so it doesn't fall
It has the perfect angle, and yes we secured it with 2 zip ties. It never failed tho
What's the estimated 0-100 time with the 125 Rotax Max Senior?
Rotax Max engines are not made to do a standing start, so that one is difficult to answer. But I can tell you it is very quick once you get into the optimal rev range!
@@RedExions Ok, thank you :) Really want to get into karting but I've made some research and you could easily spend €4000 if you want the right equipment for a Rotax :/

Not really a standing start kind of engine, but once the Power valve opens it becomes rapid

1 tip, je moet je binnenkant meer dichthouden, je wordt elke keer ge-outbraked in de grote bochten omdat je te vroeg remt en te veel je race lijnen aanhoudt, je moet pas perfecte racelijnen gaan rijden als je dicht achter iemand zit en er verder niemand achter jou binnen slipstream afstand zit. Volr de rest doe je het goed!
Ik werd steeds ingehaald omdat we motorproblemen hadden
How do you manage to show your speed and rpm (and everything else) on your video?
It's the GPS data from my GoPro. If you have a GoPro newer than the Hero 5 it should also work for you
@@RedExions ok thank you but just one more question, on the gopro site (forthe hero 7 black) there is written “compatibilitywith the gps function” but so is it an option or isit included in the camera ?
@@adriens.2237 As far as I know it comes pre installed with all main GoPro cams, so not the session variants or 360 cams

Believe it or not but that’s actually how a kart turns. The solid rear axle makes it difficult for the back wheels to turn at different speeds so the kart is designed to bring up the inside tire to allow the kart to rotate around the corner
