Yo, great to see you're out again! Btw, yesterday I was at Vandel GoKarting in Denmark! It's was the fourth time for me to race a gokart, but it was my first real race, and on a new track! I qualified in class B position nr 7, and I finished the first heat at 3rd place, with the best laptime of the B class! In the last heat, I started in position nr 1, and held it the whole way through, UNTILL! The last lap where I was stuck behind a slow a$$ old man, in the last lap, and then the second place cought up to me, and overtook me at the last chance,😢 so I finished second place instead! My best laptime was 55,934 seconds, and the record is at 51,(something). It was so cool and I got some of the fastest laptimes of that day, even though it's only my fourth time being in a gokart! Btw, I'm 14, and Peter is not my name, that's my dads name, I'm Daniel. ❤ your videos and your passion, I gotta say, you motivated me really much, and I apreciate that🎉 Thank you and hello from Denmark!😊
Hey Brian, I started racing karts again (in Florida, formerly from the UK) after retiring--I was a race car engineer. I had not race karts for 45 years! After watching a few of your videos, I was hooked again. Thank you. One bit of advice (hope you don't mind) you often stay someone pulls away from you out of a corner but you catch them under braking. Its an old commentator's mistake. It's rarely a better engine or later braking, but simply physics: time speed distance. Anyway, hope your dreams of full time race driver come about. Keep your chin up.

Some weekend at the "Kart for Fun" championship -- Race red flagged, crashes, bent chassis... not saying it was any one person's fault but dang karting for fun got a bit lost somewhere lmao I feel like fun does not involve damage and repairs
also careful on the pit lane entry you don't want to hurt anyone, that always looks worse than anything
Always use spacers on rear axel. Impossible tighten hubs enough.

But honestly you could have avoided that crash
Because your chain guard came off, it ultimately led to your position in the pre-final race being lower than it could have been. If that hadn't happened, you might have started in sixth place, and the crash might not have occurred at all, leaving you unaware that it ever happened.
@@r3dtast1ceasy to say that, but sometimes u get tunnel vision or do something dumb, that was just an unlucky crash
@@tanuh2356 he still is to blame him self should have make sure his chain guard was secure and he would have never been in that position.
Really chasiss can bend in crashes like that ? IT wasn't looking so hard.
Chassis will bend from hitting a kerb lol, any decent crash bends it a lot
