Montreal '81 sounds amazing as well. Have been re-visiting the mid-'70's gigs lately, many of which sound surprisingly heavy for the time.
Freddie is obviously the star, but I wish more people gave the rest of Queen credit. They ALL sounded incredible at this show.

Freddie was the focus because he was a magnificent front man. But Queen was such a tight unit that it took the efforts of each of the four members to make Queen's magic.
Mercury, Taylor, Deacon and May all individually wrote big hits. But on stage, they were a unit. Everyone knew what needed to be done and put their best individual efforts to make the whole of Queen succeed.

Freddy was an all around genius. Superb musician, composer, performer and showman. The real thing. He didn’t need technology to fake a good voice out of something mediocre, nor he ever needed playback to perform in a concert. Even shortly before his death, his stage presence was intact and so his voice. May his soul rest in peace

This is the most captivating musical performance I've ever seen. Freddie Mercury is incomparable in his talent, charisma and stage presence. What a loss that he left so early. I hope he knows how loved he was and still is after all these years.

Queen's performance at Live aid was voted by the public as the best performance ever at a festival with 35% of the public voting Queen the best live performance.
Radiohead finished 21st in the poll at 6% of the public voting for them for their performance at Glastonbury in 1997.
Most people can name a dozen or more Queen songs, but would struggle to name 1 Radiohead song.
Bohemian Rhapsody made it to number 1 again a decade after it originally first got to number 1.
The movie of the same name won Oscars, Baftas and Golden Globes as well as being the most successful musical biography at the cinema box office such is the obsession with Queen.
Radiohead can only dream of that success.

Lord, how does one even begin to describe? This concert is singlehandedly the best concert, these 20 minutes, in all of musical history. Each of them were absolutely superb. You can tell they care about what they do and are really having fun, just genuinely sharing their music to make people happy. I've always felt this band was special, and I know why now. They can invoke any emotion in you by just.. playing. I always feel a sort of nostalgic feeling when listening to Queen, and then I remember just exactly why. I remember riding in the car during bad and late nights, Queen on the radio. They've truly helped me get through so many lows in life. Four amazing guys who's talent is unmatched, especially the wonderful Freddie Mercury. Such a kind, brave, and funny soul who was taken from Earth much too soon. I hope he knows just how much he is loved, may he rest in eternal peace. Long live Queen

Amazing how this was to be a ten minute set and all the bands in the back were telling the shows producers to keep them out there as they could not believe what they were seeing.
