Black Walnut Ink & Oil Pastel with Brush and Pen

This video is a demonstration of a resist method of using artisan black walnut ink over oil pastel. It is also a poem highlighting the consciousness of making (timeless, focused, rhythmic) against an audio reference to time passing and the emersion and dissolving of material events.
It is also a poem about creative process. As I drew this quick drawing, Radio Station KIOS in Omaha, Nebraska played in the background. The audio track in the video moves through a sequence of news stories, my hands go through the steps in making art as parallel process.
At the end of the video the steps in the art making process scroll up in order.
