    hello... I was watching this video and have one question that keeps puzzling me. when setting up the box trade to lock in profits the price of the premium goes from a positive price to a negative price and this is where I stop. if it is negative does that mean that I pay rather than receive a credit. when setting it up I create a closing order to close but change the strike type ( on TOS ) from a call to a put. That's when the price goes from a positive to a negative...… Am I missing something in the setup or does the negative price mean I'm paying for this trade as well ?? Any help would be helpful. thanks. Joseph.

      You pay the additional commission for the box trade and then let both expire. Profit will be frozen at the time the box trade was added.

    Is there more slippage using the box trade because of the in the money option?

      There's less slippage because the whole position is ATM
