- My first quiet test drive of the beastly 600whp Corvette. I had owned the car 9 days and have not even logged 1 km on it. I decided it was finally time to take a tour of the city in it.

I really gotta test drive one of these ls7's, replacing/upgrading from my 350z track edition is tough..
I checked out an early c6 6.0 z51, the clutch/shifter seemed real sloppy for 30k miles and it seemed severely under braked. How do the clutch/brake/shifter feel to you in this bad boy?
This has 15000 miles. It feels similar to a 350Z. Solid, notchy, but with positive engagement. The brakes are strong but I haven’t pushed it. I am keeping the 350Z because it’s still a great car. Will be interesting to contrast the two.
Very nice!! I have a 07 z06 I picked it up 8 months ago with 1740 miles it has 4800 on it now would like to do the rpm stage 4 with a monster clutch how does it feel just cruising any cam surge ?
There are definitely times it surges. Rpms have to be sufficiently high to smooth out the tendency to surge and buck. It’s not terrible though.

I just stumbled upon this video because I'm thinking about buying a c6 Z06 soon and wouldn't you know it the car I have had since 15 and rebuilt with my dad is a verdoro green 68 firebird. But just a 350 one not a 400.

The 350Z door will open in the trailer. The Corvette is just wider and lower and you can’t open the door! Might need a new trailer eventually with removable fenders and a opening side door.
Ps I included that because it’s hilarious and makes me look like a loser.

I mean it’s fine but I don’t beat on this car. I take al the abuse out on a track 350Z. The previous owner took this drag racing and did a lot of burnouts for fun. Seems to be doing fine.

Yes I can. I debated trying to go through a drive though with the exhaust cut outs open, 🤣

2013 C6Z06 60th anniversary wheel. Previous owner installed it onto this 06 model
