Put it in your tray folder, not your mods folder like when you go to select mods there will also be a folder that says tray. Put all your houses in TRAY FOLDER💗💗

I'm able to download custom clothing, hairstyles, makeup, and even furniture, but I cannot for the life of me find any of the lots I downloaded. Even the ones I've made sure don't require the packs I don't have. I don't understand what I'm missing.

I put in in the right folder and checked for cc and everything! I checked the packs too. Why does it just disappear?
You have to go directly into building mode and then to your library. Move in the household later. It happened to me as well. Drove me nuts lol. Finally fixed it.

i hate when they use expansion packs LMFAOOO the point of me downloading the house is so that i can have a decent one WITHOUT owning the expansion packs 😭😭😭😭😭

Every time I download houses or anything from the gallery it mysteriously disappears even though I save everything I've downloaded...
Does it have cc? If it does go to the Gallery -> go down and u will see Advanced Settings -> CC
put it in ‘Tray’ folder not ‘Mods’ Electronic Art > Sims 4 > Tray

@@croisoi if u want base game no cc houses just go on yt and search base game family house sims 4 and then dowload it on sims gallery its so easy and simple dowloding it off sims gallery because u dont need folders for it

I’ve downloaded two houses of sims recourses and can’t get them on my sims game for my life... I’m getting so frustrated with it.... not even this worked :(
Mackenzie Edmonson I had the same problems but I realized I didn’t extract and put the house into the mods folder, you probably have done this but just double checking could help you

Great vid!. It is so unclear to so many people how to download and install cc. Just always make sure (like you already mentioned) if there are cc packs being used. But I missed the most important thing in your vid. I did everything like you said but the cc houses would still NOT show up for me. It took me a long time to find out why it would not work. Before placing the houses make sure you go in your gallery directly from building mode. Do not go through "manage worlds" otherwise your houses won't show up. But if you go directly from building mode, all your cc houses show up in your own library. Move in the household later.
I went to it through building mode and its still not there. Even when i click on “include cc” it wont pop up. The houses are in my tray folder though so do you know what im doing wrong? Could you help me?

It was a lil bit unclear about the cc content(objects etc) will not be included in the build we download or do we have do download extra cc from ex:tsr
I’ve downloaded everything but when I go to my gallery to place the lot on my game, the button to place the lot isn’t blue it’s just all gray.

I downloaded everything it says to but it just says it replaces stuff with it .
Does this only work for desktop? Cuz I play on my laptop and I download the houses extract the files (I dont use cc houses) and place them in my tray folder but they don't appear in my library even when I have the include custom content on
um, could you explain more how you put the CC stuff in the mod folder . i even paused and i couldn't really see everything you were doing also i didn't know what to click on with finding the CC in the house .

I downloaded some of the lots, but when I placed it in the sims, some (mostly) of the furnitures don’t show up. Why?
Hazel Moon u have to put the cc part of the file in your mods folder and the tray files in your tray folder
I F how do you know which goes where? When I extracted the folder it doesn’t say which goes where. I thought all of it goes in the tray folder.
@@sweetpapaya. if the file ends with .package it goes into the mods folder and the rest goes to the tray folder
Do you know what may be the problem if I install a custom lot and my sim won't enter it? This has happened with 2 different lots in 2 different worlds now :( I've removed the door and re-added. The error im getting is the X on the foot steps if I click inside the house. Door is unlocked as well.
i am trying to download off TSR but everytime i try to place an apartment, for example, on a lot in San Myshuno, it says, 'unable to place in this game mode'.... help PLEASE

How do I make my Newcrest neighborhood have the extra design yours has? My newcrest literally looks flat and green. I have added buildings but yours has decorative buildings you can't click.

Can someone tell me .. E/P is expansion pack? and what is GP, SP?? if i only have the expansions shown at EP will i have the lot in the game? Or do i need to have every expansion from the whole list, including GP, SP?

hi i need help i downloaded two of the houses from your page and it broke my whole sims 4. all my mods arnt showing up and on game options i cant click on anything. so i tried to reset my sims did not work, i took all my mods out then piut them back in so idk whats going on? help please!!!
just to mention to people that if they have the VIP membership it will download all together and you wont have to separately download it all! i love sims resource and not having ads and the perks of downloading zip files
but you will have to do what she did when separating to the tray file! and everything after that !
