M. Murray youre exactly right! If the defense was so on fire they would have been able to stop Houston from getting 20yards from their own 42 yard line if Dallas didnt get the first down which was highly unlikely because Dallas has a 95% conversion rate on 4th and 1 on the last 19 attempts

I didnt see very much pressure last night at all considering watson went into that game the 2nd most sacked qb in the league.And the secondary got torched all game. But the linebacker play has been really fun to watch. Im really happy for Jaylon to make such an amazing comeback from that terrible injury he deserves the job if he continues to play like this.

And in this case the Texans would have had a short field as opposed to punting it. JG for as much of a clown as he was didn't make the worst decision. Doesn't help that Zeke barely surfaced above 2.5 yards per carry, if that.
Defense simply did not execute when called upon.

Cowboys have the worst short yardage calls in the NFL. That one where Beasley lined up behind Dak and Zeke was horrid. They'd be better off running the Wildcat with Zeke and Tavon or something.

@@chria158 it's about knowing your receivers, he wasn't throwing to an elite receiver who can catch a pass even if it only hits their fingertips. He needed to throw the ball to where the receiver could easily catch since his WRs aren't elite. The first dude was wide open and dak threw it high for no reason, if he throws it and hits him running it's a big play. The second pick dak threw it to the side the defender was on, allowing him to make a play. He needs to lead the receiver outside to avoid that

Jason Garrett did make the right decision because he knows he can't call a play to get a yard. He's the most one dimensional coach I've seen year after year for almost a decade.
Lets talk about the TE screen on the first drive where Swaim got 25yards and it was a beautiful play! Why didnt linehan ever go back to that play!! it was one of the most successful plays this season

The Problem with this is that Dallas stop them 4 or 5 times in the red zone but all Houston needed was a field goal in overtime so we should have went for it on 4th and 1 cause we couldn't stop Houston from getting to the redzone

What are they talking about the Defense playing good all game? Dallas Defense was being marched up and down the field by the Texans all game and only started stepping up within the 20 yard lines. The score was so low because of poor play calling by BOB and goal line stands. Well the Texans didn't need a touchdown to win they needed a field goal. Which the Texans had shown all game they were quite able to do. It was a terrible call reminiscing of the Browns decision to not go for it on fourth and inches to the game away. Come on guys.
