Rachel I love it when you talk about your depression it's only when we speak about it that we can help others who might be struggling too. You're so brave and I applaud you. I found your channel by simply searching diamond painting on CZcams. I heard about it from a friend and decided to check it out for myself. You and Mrs. Crochet were my teachers. I don't want to be entered into the drawing. I'm sorry to say I wouldn't appreciate the painting or the pens as maybe someone else. I consider listening to your calm voice my guilty pleasure. So thank you for that I feel like I already won.

Thank you so must for being so open and sharing about your depression Rachel- I have Bipolar Disorder and in the last few weeks ive been suffering bad from the depression side of it for the first time in a long time. It feels so good to relate to someone’s story like yours (i feel less isolated). I have found diamond painting along with other creative hobbies to be such a good outlet for me and when i started diamond painting i found your channel while doing some research into it. I just wanted you to know that you really are reaching and helping people! ❤️ (even all the way down here in Australia!)
We are such kindred spirits. I love cross stitch, diamond painting, crocheting and knitting. I have been to Ireland (I'm 1/4 Irish) and have always wanted to live there. I've also spent so much time in my life on drinking and looking to be social in that way. I have stopped. I hate being hung over to the point that I don't like to even have one drink anymore. I appreciate your candor and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. I like listening to your chats while I do my own crafting. You have a calming voice and it's nice to listen to someone that speaks to real life. Keep it up!

I appreciate your honesty! Depression is very real. Going through this Covid-19 pandemic has caused quite a few people to become depressed. I use diamond painting to keep me in a positive frame of mind! I am a teacher coach. I miss my co-workers and the students! Remote teaching helps keep us in touch with each other, but it's not the same as being able to interact with each other in person! Thank you for being transparent, and I pray you are doing well, especially during this time! -Ms. Blue💙

The way I found your channel was I started getting into diamond painting this year but I'm the type of person who likes to know everything about the craft I'm doing before I start. Rachel . I found diamond painting on wish and I typed it into Utube and found you . I watched your beginners video and bought my first kit . Then when online in a game I found out a dear friend who had bought a kit by accident and was going to throw it away .i headed her to your videos and she began and is now delighted . then I posted my finished first project to Facebook and another person spoke up and said she's got one and didn't know where to start . there all now watching you . I am unable to walk at the moment the other two needed something to help with stress you touched and helped so many people .... thankyou

I was searching for more information on diamond painting because I had only been doing it a couple of months and wanted more information to learn about this craft. I try to watch all your videos as they go up but sometimes I get a little behind so I binge watch to catch up on them 🤪. I thought you were so lovely from the get go and was fascinated by your door table lol Thank you so much for all you do for us, you are awesome. I had a brain bleed and became paralyzed on my right side. I was sad because I couldn’t do my craft work. I saw diamond painting and I tried it. My friend helps set it up, but I can do it with left hand. I look up on CZcams and found you and others. Thank you. Another chapter.

I found you by going through unboxing videos, searching the next projects for my new addiction. I stayed because I found your meaning honest, and nice that you are also in europe. Now I love to drill to your relaxing lovley voice. And its good to talk open about depression. I had depression. To go through therapie is even harder than have depression itself. It is painfull but worth it. One day I was waking up realising, I am free and born as a new person. It it hard to get me down since then(many years ago). I have no problems with appoinments, papers or take care of me. Nearly every day I can smile in the mirror and say I love you. Stay tuned, it is long process, but every day will lead you to real happiness, and this is a feeling you cant know anymore. Be proud on yourself, and learn to be your best friend and partner to yourself! wish you all the best. Another unicorn

Hi Rachel....I remember that you were one of the first people that I started watching. I wanted to see some finished diamond paintings to see what they looked like. I searched for finished paintings and yours popped up. It was a finish of maybe 6-8 paintings and one of them was from Wish and it was very large and I think you called it Chinese Garden. Even in the most crowded room, one can feel alone. A year ago, my husband of 28 years decided he didn’t want to be with me anymore. It has taken me a year to begin to care about, and for myself. Diamond painting has given me something to care about and look forward to. Not to mention the calm it brings me. I have had anxiety for years, and with the help of medication, I am doing things that never would have been possible. I too just took a big step with my dental health. Still more issues to tackle, but one at a time.
My grandmother emigrated from Ireland in the 1910’s. I have never been to Ireland, and I’m looking forward to the retreat! That is something I never would have been able to do! Still anxious, put one foot in front of the other, and it’s possible. 🧳🦋🦄

I have watched your videos for a while now but I was working as a home Carer and at the beginning of 2021 my patient passed away due to covid 19 needless to say I got the bug as well and it was very hard on me I spent sometime in hospital when I got home I felt I needed to retire from my job I am now 72 so now I am a stay at home grandma I love diamond painting it’s been a life saver for me I do enjoy watching your utube channel and listening to your voice you speak so calm and gentle thank you Rachel keep up the good work your an inspiration 🏴💙🏴💙

I found you by searching Diamond Painting and saw you had a lot of unboxing video's I watched all of them first to get an idea of where to shop for Diamond paintings. Then I followed and started catching up on your WIP's and other videos
I honestly don't remember how I stumbled across your channel. I started diamond painting this past spring/summer, and before I bought my first one, I watched a ton of videos. I am a researcher, and wanted to know everything there was so know before I started. Once I came across your videos, however, I've stuck with you. You are so soothing to listen to, and I just love hearing your stories!
Great video. Because of you and Stitcherista, I have rediscovered my love of cross stitch. I am getting prepared now for my very first HAED and have been watching tons of youtube videos on how to do them, tips and tricks, and different stitching methods. I've been stitching off and on for over 30 years (but not in over 5 years until recently) and had never heard of diagonal stitching even though I have done full coverage patterns before. I recently downloaded and purchased Pattern Keeper. Very handy program, but it is not available for Apple products. There is a Facebook group from what I have seen, but I haven't checked it out.
Rachel, I’m new to your channel. I love your paintings and I just like you. You’re real, not perfect as many of friends try to present themselves on Facebook. I think if I knew you, we would be friends. Although I’m 50. You remind me of me, when I was twenty something. I’m glad your willing to talk about the depression. I was never allowed to be unhappy. I found you when I first started diamond painting. I was trolling thru tutorials, trying to get tips and how to's. You have helped me so much. I usually just stay quiet. I really can never answer correctly.
I know its way passed your giveaway but i would still like to answer your question. I recently started diamond painting and i was looking around on CZcams for beginner tricks n tips and stuff like that. 3 of your videos played in a row (auto-play) and i subscribed. As soon as i came across a video of you mentioning your FB page with Mrs. Crochet and coffee and instantly joined. Now i listen to your videos while i do things such as play a game on my switch or work on my current dp or I'll just lay in bed and watch your videos. Love the great work, keep it up!

Watched it and liked your personality so I watched all of your wip and chats in the playlist to figure out if I could relate. The rest is history! I recently found your channel because another one of the CZcams channels I follow tried diamond painting one day and it looked really interesting to me, and I wanted to know more about it. So I typed in "diamond painting" in the search and your channel was the first one to come up, and I've been following you ever since. Thank you for opening up about your struggles with depression. I struggle with anxiety a lot (I can really identify with what you were saying about having a legit fear of doctors...I do as well to the point where I usually avoid going and when I do have to go, my husband has to come with me because I get so worked up). Anyways, I'm still a newbie with diamond painting but I'm enjoying it and I feel like it gives my anxious brain a break.
I love DP and it helps to calm my anxiety. I had a rough infancy and early childhood and have had anxiety and depression since that time. I’m 69 now and the DP is my only relaxing moments.
I appreciate your honesty about your mental health, I suffer from anxiety and depression but mine is mainly pain fed. Diamond painting is my escape. I made the same decision about going out drinking etc and found I hated it. I dont drink now and I gave up smoking 10 yrs ago. I empathise with you and I fear the dentist too. My gp was brilliant over my depression and I'm glad you finally sought medical help.

I came across you during a tutorial video you posted when I was trying to find a new craft, to help with my shelter in place due to the pandemic, and came across DP. I ordered my first DPs last week and was searching how to videos on CZcams and you were the 2nd viedo I watched and now shamelessly (or not because i find your whip and chats very therapeutic and cant wait to watch while I start to actually DP)have been binge watching your channel! I have learned so much from you already and I haven't actually even started this craft! So, thank you so much for taking the time and effort to do these because I so enjoy you and Luna and all of your videos!

I found you through recommendations on youtube but im having trouble remembering when it feels like ive been watching your journey for most of this year. Id be lost without you your always here when i need some company especially now the dark night's are coming in. You keep me company while i diamond paint or cross stitch. I am watching on my eldest daughters channel. I found you searching for handy tips on dp. I currently raise my three granddaughters. One of which was born with hirschsprungs disease . She loves to work with me on my dp. She suffers daily . They keep me on my toes. And I also care for my disabled bed ridden mom. Dp gives me Nd out. I solely focus on one drill at a time. I was watching other diamond painting channels particularly kicking cancers butt and your channel came up as recommended so I had a look and watched your video on doing epic sized painting which I felt had lots of tips and tricks in it all your videos seem helpful like that and your playlist has helped me when I was stuck on different things
I found your channel with a search of a tutorial on how to diamond art. I love your videos. your voice is so soothing to listen to. I work on my projects while I view your video, it feels like I am in a mini diamond painting club. My daughter had given me 2 small diamond art club paintings as a mother's day gift. Now I am hooked and love doing them! I am working on my sixth painting. About the mike, it was too low to hear so I had to get my earbuds to hear you better.
Rachel, yesterday I barely knew a thing about you. Today I feel like I know a lot about you after listening to this video ( do you see comments on older videos & know which video it was for? Wow that was the quickest response ever! Some people I follow on CZcams never respond to any of my comments. It's really nice to get a response. I enjoyed this video. I have suffered from depression before and a little now with this crazy world. My only family (that I talk to) live thousands of miles away so I can relate to that. I think it's brave to have a CZcams channel and share your life with the world! I'm real new to DP and just started my first one and I can see how it can be addicting. Keep doing what you're doing. 😊
