I only ever had two experiences I would classify as paranormal.
1) A girlfriend and I were walking through a park and she wanted to take a picture along the trail. We took, said picture, and didn't think anything of it. Later on, we were taking a look at it and I noticed that there was very clearly a shadowy outline of a person standing on the hill behind us. It was a perfect silhouette. There was no one else on the trail but us, and the hill wasn't big, so we would have noticed another human standing upright at the top of it.
2) My high school sweetheart, me, and her Dad were in the living room watching a movie one night, and a little statue on top of their fireplace fell down for no reason. Nothing had ever fallen off of it before while I was there. I'm like, "what the hell?", and they barely reacted. My gf just said something like, "I told you this place is haunted". We then proceed to attempt to make conversation with this spirit, because I'm intrigued, and questioning my skepticism. After a few minutes, the door to their dining room just slams; like someone closed it with all the force they could muster. For whatever reason my girlfriend got the idea to take pictures of the doorway. Upon looking at these pictures, you can clearly see a shadowy silhouette with a reddish-pinkish aura around it on the other side of the glass of the door.

Thank you for this lmao. I do kinda believe in some paranormal stuff. I grew up in a house built in 1870 and saw some stuff, simply just figured standing somewhere that disappear. Not interact with each other or you.
Lived across the street from a funeral home for 6 years in a house built in the early 1900s and the scariest things that happened there was a door that you can't open from the inside opened by itself so def scizo or fake

Your story struck home. The house I grew up in had a half flight of stairs from our entryway down to the living room. From our couch you could see up those stairs and into the entryway. When I was in the house alone (night or day) I would sometimes see, in my peripherals, a figure standing just at the top of the stairs. I would look over and it would appear to duck behind a loveseat that was on the other side of the railing at the top of the stairs. I spent YEARS trying to explain it and never could, and no one else ever saw it. Hasn’t happened since we moved out. It wasn’t a daily occurrence, and again night or day didn’t seem to matter, but it certainly kept me on my toes

I’ve had two small paranormal experiences both times I was up late sitting at my dining table. The first time there was pitter patter of little feet scurrying across the kitchen when I looked up to see which of my little girls had awakened nobody was there. The second time in dead silence no more than 2 feet away I heard a little voice say “momma..” but when I turned to look there was no one there.
Sounds like your experience at home is MORE than likely Shadow People/Folk. Basically people theorize that it's either spirits/entities or it's people in a very close dimension walking through/past a thin point. My old house had a shadow person who would walk down the hallway that was immediately to my left when I would be at the kitchen sink, saw them a bunch out of the corner of my eye. Would also see them in the same hall when I was at my desk (which I could see out the door from into the hallway).
Never a threatening presence...but definitely strange and can spook you.
