Hi Chris. I'm new to bait making. I have really enjoyed a few of your videos. I have a question can you hand pour medium plastic bodies and soft plastic tails in the same mold?

I don't hand pour, but watching you pull those worms from the mold was awesome. What was really evident was how smooth the sides of the worms were. Great machining of those molds.
I'm in smallmouth country. Maybe a 3.6 open pour action worm mold is in my future.

In the end of this video you said that you going to be revisiting the technical side of hand pouring soon ( I think ). If you do this could you include the step to take right after you pour skin layers to get proper thermal ponding?
Two questions:
1.) can you use the hot plate at 350 to keep the plastic at a stable 350 degrees?
2.) can you do a color video using the synthetic morph from dead on plastix? I have a pretty good recipe but wanna see what a master can do!
That’s one fine hot plate. Love the custom design they done for you. The red shad worms are always a staple anywhere you go. I wonder if something can be designed to go on that hot plate that can keep your cups hot to improve your injection time. Less micro wave reheating.
Can’t wait to get mine. Been on the list since March. Should be getting it soon.

Living in the desert any rain is welcome ,funny how one persons experience is much different than another,just like baits having fun making molds and hand poring fall is now time to go out an enjoy the water with a smaller crowd another great vid ,happiness is not measuring color

I would love to see a video where you can duplicate (or as close to possible) the Yamamoto Flappin' Hog green pumpkin with purple flake using Dead On Plastics. I know they use some salt content.. I'm trying to get it just right but not having much luck. and would you recommend Worm or Swimbait / Jerkbait or even Craw for this type of bait? Keep in mind they are designed to have allot of action.
That griddle would be good for the double and triple blending blocks. I'm going to eventually get one from him.

I’m new to this bait making and without your help I would be lost. I am big into ned fishing and actually came up with 2 baits. With the help of a friend who was into making baits, we had some molds made up. He isn’t making baits anymore so I never got to see how these baits would work. Your help has got me addicted to making them myself!!!
And my baits one in particular is working amazingly well both as a ned and as a drop shot. I could use your help duplicating the Megabass Hazedong Green Pumpkin shad colors!!!

Chris, I have a rather large stack of silicone worm molds that, to my recollection, make a very nice straight worm. I would love be able to pour a laminated worm like the ones you did in this video. I'm concerned about proper lamination. could you offer any advice? I have thought of gently haying them with a heat gun.
Is there an official website I can go to buy this plate? It looks awesome. I have a heat grill that is really as bad and unevenly heated as it could be.😂
