What a fantastic review, thanks Blunty. I have been waiting for a headset like this to come out since my g933"s mic broke. Many thanks from South Africa.

Hi mate, great review. One question: Any issues while wearing glasses ? still comfortable ?

I have absolutely loved my sennheiser pc363's since the day I bought them, everyone keeps asking what mic I used as they sounded so clear.

can you compare the Sennheiser to the new a50's?

Did these just release Blunty? I'm at 7:30 so far and I immediately Googled them and saw some month old videos but they don't seem to exist on any merchant store like Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, etc. They're only available on their own website so far.
I'm all for these they seem amazing. I'm so glad you mentioned the pros to a good gaming headset mic. It's something I knew but had never really thought of or could put into words quite like you did. When you have a dedicated desktop microphone you may have to sacrifice your comfort or spine to sit in a proper range of the microphone. Not only that, you may self consciously be altering how you sit so you can sound as good as possible instead of being comfortable and in the zone while gaming. It's a big deal and definitely one of the secret pros to using headset audio, even if it's potatoey compared to even cheap mics like the stellar Samson Q2U or something.

Watching this on my Sennheiser PC360. Have them for more than 5 years. The only issue I have with them is wired (you mentioned rolling your chair over wires, that happens a lot) and open back )I'm in a noisy area so while gaming I get distracted very easily.
So, I'm actually looking for a wireless, closed back solution..
Sennheiser should just invent something wireless (not bluetooth that has latency) like these (I guess) but which I can connect to a mixer, for streaming. I know the Arctis Pro wireless should be able to do it.. But seriously I love Sennheiser headphones and quality.
I'm not currently streaming, but I'm shopping around for the best experience.

As a PS4 User primarily how would you rate them?
I use the LucidSound LS41, previously LS40 from one of your older videos.
I briefly used the Artcis Pro Wireless but due to issues with the Chatmix I returned it, but really enjoyed the Dual Input of Bluetooth as well as usual source that this also seems to have.
Does the chatmix function work on Console, namely PS4?

I used ls30 before , first one battery went to flame first 2 days . got replacement the sound of it and microphone is amazing what annoyed me the feedback microphone u cant turn it off and after 6 mothns the headests fell apart and then got steelserise arctics 7 which I would say not better sound or microphone but much much better build quailty

    Sennheiser FTW!
Always lusted after HD 600's, and finally in the last few weeks, now have a set ,.
Not cheap, but less expensive than equivalent "reference class" headphones, though not a gaming headset, its generally considered the best in its field...Bob Katz agrees.
    Thats the pedigree of Sennheiser.

These or Astro A50? I currently have A50 but if these are better in sound positioning I'll get these.

My wireless headphones let me change batteries if they go flat. Ships with two so one is charging at all times.

Yeah, Astro is no competition. Astro’s software is abysmal.

While it's a decent microphone quality for a wireless gaming headset, I still like the sound of the ModMic more. And if I have any choice I keep sticking to cable solutions.

  • @ScarryHarry93

This might have just sold me...lot of poor reviews on Amazon and specifically on the mic quality. Seems most are because of the lack of using the software, or during a time where the software wasn't working. But I love my game zero's and basically want the same kind of headset but wireless and better audiophile wuality
