Indian food is nothing but the perfect amalgamation of colors, fragrances, temperatures, textures, tastes and balance of starch/carbohydrates/ proteins/ fats.
It also has the chronology of eating each delicacy. Try eating with your hands its awsum.

Great to see you guys enjoy Indian food. Just few pointers, to carry on with the same.
    1. Always starters are first - paneer Tikka, chicken Tikka, and all the kebabs, chaat items, soups etc. Fall in this category
    2. Secondly, move into the masala dosa or bhatura with channa masala or Naan/indian breads with Indian curries.
    3. Third, you dig into the biriyani with the raitha (yoghurt + onion + cucumber +salt) or pulao or rice with dhal
    4. Finally, any Indian meal should be finished off with dessert - Payasam/Kheer or Falooda with ice cream or
Carrot halwa/Gulab Jamun with ice cream
    5. To get all the food digested, Indians have a beda with paan.

Green gravy is palak (spinach ) paneer( unsalted cottage cheese ,made up of strained curdled milk).
We eat white rice with curries.Add the curry(pakoda curry/chicken curry/palak paneer,/butter paneer) into rice and mix it and have it you will like that.
Masala dosa is surved with green/red chutney and sambar without chopping of its end. That part is very crispy.
To enhance the taste of sugarcane juice add little bit of red chilli powder along with salt.
We eat rice and roti/naan/bhatura separately in India.
Indian cuisine satisfies the taste buds of both vegetarian as well as nonvegetarian due to the variety of spices added into it.
Try more and more Indian dishes.

    @bosgaurus1 Před 2 lety +25

Paneer is that cheese you liked so much is essentially a well drained, freshly made cottage cheese that is then packed into a flat dough-like consistency is then cut into shape.
The "Green Curry", or Paalak , is spinach puree. It is often cooked with paneer or simply with cubed Aalu, or potatoes.

Your videos show good food being prepared and you can almost smell the deliciousness! Drooling..
    Some constructive suggestions:
    1. Foods like dosa, bhatura, etc. are to be savored straight from the pan. From what I saw, you wandered around with your dosa and bhatura for a long time, picking up the starters and watching naan being prepared before heading to the table. You'd enjoy them much more if you ate them straight off the pan or 'hot-hot' like we Indians like to say. 😀
    2. Please don't use these somewhat obscure songs (perhaps they're not copyright protected?). Instead you could use instrumental music for the background.
    3. You understandably tend to forget the names of the dishes, so suggest keeping a menu or reference nearby so that you don't confuse them while naming them later...

The green curry sauce you tried at first with the dosa called palak paneer is actually spinach. Lol, it's a popular one. Palak Paneer literally means Spinach with cottage cheese. And please for heaven's sake don't combine the breads with the rice.

I'm grateful to be born in India, we never get bored of our real traditional cuisine, also i am someone who eats less junk food but more of such regional dishes, if i want to try new i eat idli dosa other south Indian dishes, and north India food list is big too from Paneer in everything to different stuffed paranthas, curry, chutneys, pickles. Also our north east have enough menu ranging from maximum non-veg and veg. I love north eastern food too like momos, thukpa, different chutneys and achaar. Traditional lentils and curry, also dried cheese which they prepare traditional and the sauerkraut n other fermented food, although i am picky in fermented food section though. I'm grateful to be born in India.

Totally agree with your sentiments Richa, I love trying food from all corners of India. Each area has its own unique flavor, being from North....Delhi to be exact, currently living in North America, our food was heavily influenced by Mughlai dishes. However there are 2 dishes that use to be peasant food, Daal and Sarson ka saag, has gone mainstream and become national dishes of the North....anyway have a great day...

Dosa is with Sambhar generally. Cudnt see that.
Bhatura is eaten with chana masala
U eat starters first than go for gravy items paired with either naan or rice or both.

Wow - we have a Tandoori Flame in my city in Ontario Canada, but it’s not anything close to this one! This one is HUGE and clean and amazingly decorated.
Great food too of course! Even for vegetarians there’s lots of choice.

You served palak paneer but took only the spinach gravy and no paneer. I was amused 😂
