- I was making the common gnat traps written about on the web but noticed how bugs are immediately attracted to light.
Wanting to capture as many as I could as there were a hundred in my house I combined light with a traditional apple cider vinegar, water and dish soap.
Results were amazing, 99% were captured over night. Even a grasshopper was by the light!

Soooo, you must be due for an upgrade on your iPhone because there is no way I’d put my iPhone on skewers over liquid lol.
