- he beefy deluxe panel clamps from @rockler_woodworking are my current favorite for gluing up panels. For the majority of our board glue-ups, these allow me to clamp two boards at a time. When their mini deluxe panel clamps were released just recently, I snagged a couple of sets before they got sold out from under me like the originals. Obviously smaller and much lighter, but still just as effective for those times when I want to add a couple more boards to the batch. Bonus feature: mounting brackets!
Same here ...these clamps will slow you down to a snails pace while you fiddle to get them set up
Looking good! 👏
what is the yellow on the bars,,,i like these clamp but the glue on the bars is a nightmare
the yellow is painter's tape to keep the glue off the bars when clamp up your project.
How wide of a board can you clamp?
up to 16" wide
Poor video. I have these and it feels like I need two extra sets of hands to get them to work. You assembled your work at high speed so it was difficult to see exactly the method you used to assemble the clamps.
Good feedback. I may make a better demo someday. But yes, at first these were hard to work with but I produce butcher block and chess boards on a regular basis and have come to like the efficiency and effectiveness of these clamps.
@@mountainmakersdefinitely a slight learning curve. But after using them like twice I love these more than using super struts for the up down pressure. Also, I’ve found I don’t even need to tape em. Glue peels right off even after sitting for 24 hours clamped.
