I’m in Houston, TX. Getting a car in 2 weeks. I’m so excited about getting into the gig economy. I just haven’t figured out which gig to do.
Wages have been flat for decades. Employees NEED time freedom to survive. I've been saying an employer trying to own me 40 to 50 hours a week is wrong and unsustainable. Employee loyalty? Your quest for more wealth is standing squarely in the way of my having shelter. F that.

Being independent requires more discipline than regular office jobs.Must treat the business as the entity that feeds you and your family.Take it ULTRA seriously .
Can you make a video about DOT/non DOT number requirements and how it applies to gig drivers? I see many apps like Curri and Onerail that can be interstate transport with a van or pickup and trailer over 10k, which I believe requires DOT registration, which requires insurance above regular private insurance, which appears to be cost prohibitive for the money that can be made. Some of the hot shot guys are paying a couple grand a month!
I can’t make any promises however, you can dig into a bit of research.
Please help me. I have an LLC I started in November of 2022 but have yet to "start" doing anything with it because I can't find any courier jobs in my area.

I live in Northwest Florida ( I'm about 45 minutes away from Panama City, Florida). I do not have a sprinter van. I only have my cars
Okay. I'm in a very small town and most of the jobs available are in South Florida

Okay, this has been the situation I am facing; when I look up the companies you display, most of them are six and seven hours away from me ( south Florida). Some only require sprinter vans and not cars. I've taken a medical courier training course as well.

Were you expecting all 52 States? I don’t get it…
Texas may be one of the best states, but only in the large cities like San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth. If you don't live close to them then you are very limited in the apps/companies that are available in your area. Therefore, you don't make good money. So you can't say all of Texas is the best.

And Memphis, Tennessee is crap! If Tennessee is good for both opportunity and/or pay it’s usually because Nashville is carrying the state! Memphis is usually slow in the nation. Never real opportunity and years behind. And look who surrounds them…Mississippi and Arkansas (listed as worst states)

What’s going to lift up Memphis but mainly the communities to the east of the city is the new Ford plant. AKA, Blue Oval City. I agree with you, Nashville and the greater metro area is the place to be no matter if you’re looking for tradition employment or gig work. Myself, I have a tradition 9 to 5 in the skilled trades but I also do Amazon Flex and Veho in my spare time. I’m originally from Mississippi and that list is accurate! If you can’t find work in the Nashville metro it’s only because you’re not looking!
I’d love to know who is making a living in the Nashville area, and what apps you’re using. I don’t see it, and I am personally on, and receiving jobs from 7 apps. I am not making much at all…
@@alwaysforward4035 that ford plant won’t help Memphis. No one is driving an hour outside of Memphis to a job. Not for long anyway. They’ll quit shortly after doing it
How about vegas?
Right now I am staying in texas ( dallas ) .. here the market is good but the competition here is to much and it’s hard to make money on consistent basis because of too much competition and thought to move vegas .. please tell me am I thinking in a right way
