- 3 long days on the bike as I make my way from the Northern Territory through outback Queensland to the coast, checking out a few interesting spots along the way as i finish my solo motorbike camping adventure.
I think what i find most appealing about your stuff, is how you engage with your listeners. Factor in also, your warm smile, and layback approach, then we're on a winner.
thanks for the continued support Kevin. It's been a lot of fun, I can't wait to get back out there.
Hello Joe! Thank you very much for showing us your wonderful country. You have a natural gift for describing your impressions of the moment of your motorcycle trip, it's as if we were there with you. For a French Canadian from Montreal, Quebec, your accent adds a bit of exoticism to your images. Australia for me has always been a distant and mysterious land. Thanks to your videos, I travel as if I were there... Incredible Tasmania, the Nullarbor desert, Australian West Coast! Wow! Thanks again, I look forward to seeing your next videos.
Thank you for the support Benoit, I am happy you have been enjoying the series. Yes Australia is an incredible place to explore and so diverse in landscape.
Hopefully I'll be able to work on the next series soon.
Thank you Joe, epic series, moviemaking and story telling.
Thanks for the continued support Rob, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Loved following your adventure. Every episode with a cup of tea and 20 minutes of enjoyment. Thank you very much!
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
I just watched all 23 episodes over this weekend. This was such a pleasure, such a wonderful vicarious experience, and made all the better by your personality. Thank you so much! I'm just getting back into riding after a five year break (I used to do 40,000km a year of it, but then a couple of crashes in succession with kangaroos on highways spoiled the passion for a time). Two weeks ago I bought a bike again. Watching this has been perfect timing.
Thanks Matthew, it's great to hear you enjoyed the series. I hope your new bike ignites the passion to explore again.
Whispers of yesterday fade with the sun,
Journey’s end but tales have just begun,
Steps retraced in the mind’s silent play,
Marking an end, in a beautiful way.
Footprints on sand, washed by tide’s gentle sweep,
Moments captured, in heart’s memory keep,
Sunsets promise, a new dawn on display,
Closing a chapter, in its own special way.
Endings are merely a pause, not goodbye,
Destinies intertwined, under the sky,
Journeys end, but memories forever stay,
Marking their place, come what may.
I am a little sad that your journey is finished, but it is better that good things have an end, so that they can be appreciated all the more. Great filming, editing, commenting and music selection. All the very best and I look forward to your next trip!
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
It should be too long before I am back out there exploring.
What an epic poem thanks for sharing here
Thanks for your posts. Enjoyed all of them. Down to earth, fair-dinkum style videos, content, and narrative.
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Thanks Joe. Thoroughly enjoyed your journey. Appreciate how much time, organisation & commitment it took to post the series. I always looked forward to your next post. Regards

Thanks for the continued support Jason, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
I know I'm late to the party here Joe but I'd like to thank you. Some of us have to live vicariously through folks such as yourself and these videos are a wonderful way for us to connect to people and places we're likely never to see. So....thank you for filming your adventure and presenting it to us. Your filming and editing skills are top notch and it makes for a fun ride. I'm really looking forward to what you get up to next.
Thanks Sean, it's great to know you have enjoyed the series.
Thank you that was being along for the ride seeing some old places and some new you done well and that trusty steed enjoy and thanks again
thanks for the continued support mate, glad you have enjoyed the series. Yes it may not be the fastest the biggest the best, but the bike has done everything I asked of it, no issues not complaints from the bike, so it's done a perfect job.
Awwwww now that this adventure is finished, it's winter, cold wet and miserable here, I think I'm gonna be depressed until you set off again. Thanks for letting me ride along with you.
Glad you enjoyed the series mate, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out exploring.
Thanks for the fantastic series! Always something to look forward to, checking out your adventures every week.
Thanks for the continued support Neil, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.

Thanks for taking the time to make extraordinary videos. Both series are excellent and well worth watching, and so very much looking forward to your future expeditions. Your photos are awesome showing such vivid colours etc. Love your work, thanks again.
Thanks mate, I stoked you enjoyed both series, I'm hoping to be back out exploring soon.
Thanks, Probably the best Moto camping channel on You Tube .
Wow, Thank you, your support is greatly appreciated and will go towards the next journey. I am scrambling to working on the logistics now, heading off soon, hopefully I can create another series that is worth watching.
So the end of the journey ... but not the adventure! Thank you so much for sharing. 👍
yes the end of this one, but hopefully I'll be out there again exploring soon. Thanks for the continued support.

Greetings Kees (from the Netherlands )
Bedankt voor de steun Kees, het wordt enorm gewaardeerd, het gaat mee in het volgende traject.
I'm am very happy you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Another trip down memory lane for me. Those winds can be quite brutal for sure on the bike.
Thank you so much for sharing this series.
thanks for the continued support mate, glad you have enjoyed both the series. Yes I was expecting a wind in that area as it is so flat, I mean you hope for a tail wind but, it's never happened for me 😂.
It's been fascinating watching your big adventure, thanks so much for sharing it with us! Rest up for a while, but not too long because we're all looking forward to seeing your next trip. Take care!
Thanks for the continued support Rob, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Well done, Joe, excited to see what’s next for you. Thank you!

Thanks for the continued support Simon, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Thanks for the memories.
I really love Tasmania and spent 5 months in a caravan traveling around with my other half, wishing I was on a motorbike.
I am older and long retired and I can't ride anymore due to a bad back from my work life.
Keep up the great work mate, I may even look at the NZ ones next ... 🤣
Thank you for the support, it is greatly appreciated and will go towards then next journey. It's great to hear you enjoyed this series and yes if you get bore there is the New Zealand series and there might be a couple interesting ones coming soon.
Thank you for the content. Just left Australia after living there for 7 years. This video makes me miss the country. Gonna be back one day for motorbike trips. And of course on a Himalayan!
You are welcome mate, glad you enjoyed the series. It is definitely are great place to explore on a motor bike
I've thoroughly enjoyed both series. The places you've shown us are amazing and I'm glad it wasn't me sitting on the Himmy for those long days in the saddle. How amazing is that bike. Hard to fathom how reliable it's been considering the tracks you've taken it on and of course, you yourself just keep on going no matter what. A huge thank you for all of it.
Thanks for the continued support Jeff, stoked you have enjoyed both series. Yes there were 4 days of nearly 1000km a day. Yes the Himalayan has done everything I have asked of it and more, it just keep going no issues no complaints, it has been awesome.
Awesome series Joe… Thanks for reminding us that we have a great country Looking forward to what you planned next. Cheers🤙🤙
Thanks for the continued support Mike, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Hey Joe, I just wanted to thank you for taking us with you on your big adventure ride around Australia. I thoroughly enjoyed each video in the series as each one presenting some parts of our big country that I have not been able to reach yet. Each video was nicely presented and the photos at the end were magnificent. Well done mate, I am already looking forward to what comes next. I can see you on a RE 452 in the future after the wonderful performance of your 411. Keep smiling!
Thanks Stuart, I am glad you enjoyed the first 2 series.
Yes the Himalayan did everything I asked of it, couldn't be happier.
Hopefully I'll be back out exploring soon
I just watched the whole big lap over the last 2 days, that's a real adventure mate, your relaxed attitude made the prospect of doing it myself less intimidating, thanks.
it's great to hear you enjoyed the series. Yes doing a big lap is a lot of fun. If you have done an overnighter camping trip on the bike, then a few day trip, then a week trip, you'd be good to go as it is just stringing together one day after another.
Thanks Ryan, I've enjoyed every video of your trip, look forward to your next adventure wherever that takes you.
I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Thanks for the great videos it was an epic journey.

Thanks Ryan it has been a pleasure to follow your journey. I wish I had done this as I love adventure and bikes. My to say your photos you capture are captivating! Can't wait to see what you do next. I hope you allow us to come along.
thanks you Jamie, it is greatly appreciate and will help on the next journey.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring and yes you are more than welcome to come along on the next one, two, three, four, five....
Fantastic series Joe, thoroughly enjoyed watching . You make me feel so relaxed listening to you. Good luck and look forward to seeing your next journey.
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Loving your videos. Myself and the missis took our Himalayans down through Europe from England to the German Alps last year- following the WW1 front line down through France on the back roads, through a couple of national parks. Sadly the weather was utterly awful- raining so much even Germans were giving up camping- so we headed back up to the Netherlands. The Himalayans took it all. Fantastic machines.
that sounds like it would have been a really interesting journey is there a route you can follow and places that have information on what happened when?
Yes the Himalayan just gets the job done, no fuss, great for exploring like that.
@@freewayproject it certainly was interesting- there are some enormous old bunkers by the side of the roads. Quite sobering too when vìsiting the cemeteries such as Messines Ridge- hundreds upon hundreds of gravestones.
The route we followed was purely by looking at a map and heading towards places I had heard of on the B roads- there was no specific route. We found some beautiful little roads, purely by accident. On the way back we stopped at Bastogne and Overloon- two famous battlefields from WW2. It is a trip I can recommend.
it is a real pleasure to follow your exploits, and to give the feeling that we are in the passenger seat.... thank you for letting us enjoy your travels.... greetings from the other side (Belgium)
Thanks for the continued support Robert, I'm happy you enjoyed the series.
hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
we look forward...to your new walkabout..@@freewayproject
I could write paragraphs after each of your episodes! I always end your videos smiling. I love mornings, and you’re the only creator I’ve seen who braves the dark early. You have the unnatural ability to make any straight road interesting. Epic 20-year tree shot! Walkabout Creek! Like your mate, I had kids. Thanks for sharing your adventures so far! Cheers!
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
I do love riding early before dawn, I do take it a lot slower because of the chance of animals (I have not come across any in the morning as yet) but also riding slower you take more in.
Yes finally got a decent shot of a tree in that white grass, probably would have been better with not wind, I may have to go back and try again haha.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
How do I support you? You’ve mentioned super-thanks /super-likes, but I don’t see how to access anything like that through YT.
@@brownneedles6968 Thank you for the offer of support mate.I do want to do something that would offer something of value, I am looking into selling prints of the photos from the trips but the price to print manage and ship something of quality is quite expensive ( I am working on this), people have also asked about a coffee table photo book which again is very expensing so would need to sell a lot of them to have any change of making money back. I was think of setting up a patron page, which would have a lot of extra behind the sense videos of the filming, taking photos and the other behind the sense (Patron is a membership where you get access to extra stuff and can have tiers, so depending it might be $5 or $10 a month).
The super Thanks (I think you have to be sign into your youtube account first) on a desktop or laptop is a button just below below the video in the same area as the title of the video next to share. It as the word Thanks on it. If you are unsure what it looks like here is a youtube video explaining it czcams.com/video/J07l-Qe9xgs/video.html
@@freewayprojectI'm looking forward for digital prints.
Joe great series and adventure and thank you so much for sharing this with us all
Your camera work, history lessons and story telling I thoroughly enjoyed them

Looking forward to continue to follow your adventures and your channel
Thanks heaps
Dave
Thanks for the continued support Dave, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
Well I love exploring on the bike and I do like filming a creating the series, so although it takes a while to edit them I am enjoying it.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. As I watched this episode from my home in the mountains of Tennessee in USA it's 14 degrees Fahrenheit with around 4 inches of snow on the ground. So it's nice to see warmer places
You are welcome Richard, I am glad you are enjoying the series. Now that's cold, not the best conditions for exploring on a bike.
I have been fortunate enough to travel through your great state Clarksville, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga. It is mind-blowingly beautiful in the fall with all the colour of the leaves changing.
Really enjoyed both series, well put together. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!
Thanks mate, glad you have enjoyed them. I am doing a shorter one now and planning on a longer one next if all works out.
That was a very enjoyable series Joe. Well done. Keep living the dream.

Congratulations on a great trip
The royal enfield seems to perform very well!
Looking forward to more adventures
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the series. Yes the royal enfield did everything I asked of it and I had no issue, so did the job perfectly.
@@freewayprojectthanks
Thinking about buying one myself
@@batmanlives6456 Well you can see what my has been able to do so if you're thinking of doing similar right it will definitely get the job done.
Thank you joe for giving us the chance to come along and ride with you on this amazing journey i totally loved it and the other videos you have shared with us., I will certainly miss my Friday arvo catch up with you , so rest up , save up and I look forward to your next adventure, cheers mate.
Thanks for the continued support Jason, stoked you enjoyed the series. Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there.
Driving to Canberra today, I watched a Harley road King leaning over to the right, while going through left handers from the cross wind... He was struggling....
wow, yer that a big bike to be battle the wind with.
Joe. Thanks for the adventures and wonderful pics and information.
Thanks for the continued support Larry, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
Joe, you’re a legend. Love your tight, personalised pieces to camera. Yep, looking forward to knowing your thoughts on tyres, equip etc. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully I'll have those videos out in the next few weeks
Awesome adventure mate, it was enjoyable to watch each episode. Looking forward to getting stuck in to watching the next series.
Thanks mate, great to hear you enjoyed it. There is the Dirt Alternative Route Series, then on Friday I'll start uploading then new series.
Fantastic.....Joe...Thanks for taking me along...now I need to go back to your first adventure...time travel, I will. Looking forward to more from you....Maybe on the Himalayan 450???? Remember...keep your feet on the pegs and your right hand cranked!
Thanks for the continued support Garth, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
The Himalayan 450 looks awesome, but I bought my Himalayan second hand as I don't have the fund to get a new one, so I'll be staying on this one for a while, but it been getting the job done so all is good.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Enjoyed every video. Looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the continued support Kristin, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Thanks for sharing your amazing journey Joe, looking forward to what comes next.
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Thanks so much Joe. I've enjoyed every second of video, every word accompanying and most of all the stills. That lone tree came out fantastic too. You are always welcome at Casa De Marty in the foothills of the snowies if you decide to do a shorter adventure before heading over to the land of the long white cloud and sheep shaggers.👍
Thanks mate, well nice to see someone picked it, but I'll leave my velcro gloves behind.
@@freewayproject take the gloves mate, they have some really good looking ones....👍
@@martythompson6509 🤣😂
Well Joe you have me itching to do the trip again to see what I missed first time around with your beautiful footage, editing and photos. An absolute credit to you and your filming talent. Being in my 7th decade I'll make a go of it next year. The the bike did extremely well under the circumstances. Those last three days were definitley flamin long ones 1,000 K's on the first day backed up by two more, what stamina . Thank you Joe for sharing and bringing us along on your ride around the block, loved it and look forward to you next one cheers.
Thanks for the continued support Mark, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series. Yes I think it was 4 day around 1000km a day or just under, I was feeling it towards the end. Yes the bike seem to handle everything I though at it so stoked with it, not issues at all. Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring. Definitely worth going for a lap, you'll have a ball.
Thanks mate but I might pass on the tins of TUNA for dinner 🙂
🤣😂@@marksteele4364

Great series. Ive watched every episode. well done.
Thanks for the continued support Ken, stoked you have enjoyed the series. I hope to be back out there soon, as you would know it always better when you are exploring.
😊 you for sharing your beautiful trip and photography.
You have shown two things that can be of reference for many out there that are looking in starting an aventure riding a motorbike, one, there is not necessarily to have a very expensive bike and gear to do it and second showing that the selecting a bike that is light enough for the rider be independent and not relaying on others when a problem can occur.
I have seen so many motorbike globetrotters that are not capable of lifting upright the bike when they have dropped it because the weight and that IMHO is irresponsible.
I am looking forward to see your next videos, take care and keep the dreams alive.
Thanks for the continued support Arthur, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
On your first point, not only is my bike on the less expensive side, I actually got mine second hand. Also I am not really fond of canned tuna (it's an on going joke through the series) but again if I keep the cost down I can go for longer, go further. If I has saved up for one of the bigger bike, I will still be saving and have not even left yet.
On the second point, that is one of the criteria I had when looking for a bike, I had to be able to pick it up as I was traveling on my on and I was going to be going places with no one around. Also I needed something like a tractor that would just keep going.
hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there .exploring.
Wow. What a incredible adventure. Thank you for share this wonderful journey with us. A big hug from LA.
Thanks for the continued support Josh, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
I hope it is still mild weather in L.A. and the sun is still shining
Hi Joe, Thanks for another awesome episode, a little sad it was the last one in this series but looking forward to you next adventure which I hope isn't too far away. The way you edit and present is just so professional and a credit it all your hard work and being able capture such great content and take us along for the ride. Looking forward to your episodes on the 40K review of the bike and your photography tips etc. Ride safe and keep healthy until next time. Cheers Clint.
Thanks for the continued support Clint, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.

Well I hope you miss a lot of the next series due to you being out there exploring on your own bike.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
🎉🎉😮oh man . Joe , what can I say … congratulations on your big “Warm Up Trip “ I know the feeling, sitting in the saddle on long days and dreaming up other ideas … it’s so meditative and inspiring and leaves you hungry for more. You’ve been a true inspiration for me mate these last few months as I’ve been going through chemo /and now immunotherapy every 2 weeks and doing rides in between sessions. Things are looking up for me and soon I’ll be off on much longer journeys! Anyway once again thanks mate . If your ever back in Margaret river hit me up 🤙
so awesome to hear things are looking up Darren, hopefully the videos are a little distractions from what I could not imagine how hard a journey it musts be. Stoked you have been able to get on a bike in between. Hopefully I'll be able to get out on the road again soon and continue making more episodes. Definitely when I get over that side again will come say hi.
Thanks for the continued support.
@@freewayproject thanx mate 👊
I've really enjoyed this trip. For me, the whole draw of CZcams channels like yours is that I am able to travel to countries I will probably never visit, and see the remarkable sites and places that you see, and you have shown us some absolutely stunning places. Thank you. Oh and in the UK there are still many red telephone boxes, but they have many alternative uses; micro libraries or art galleries, sites for emergency defibrillators, community information centres... all sorts, except in parts of North Wales where mobile phone signals cannot reach, there, they still contain pay phones. Also, interesting to see Ilfracombe in the middle of Queensland. The town of the same name here is in North Devon and is a famous seaside holiday destination. A more stark difference between two towns with the same name it is hard to conceive of. Looking forward to your next videos.... whatever the subject.
Thanks for the continued support Neil, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
I do know of just the one red phone box in Australia still working on the main street of Bangalow NSW I think they keep it there in front of the old post office for the look. that one out in the middle of the QLD out back was all fiction. I think I might have to come see some of these phone boxes you speak of especially if there is no mobile reception, it sounds isolated and that sound interesting.
There are a lot of towns that there names come from areas in the UK, but yes as you say the 2 Ilfracombe are worlds apart.
hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Just the beginning........legend, love your top quality videos, well almost a documentary, just awesome. Keep doing what you’re doing.....you are onto a good thing! Can’t wait for the next instalment. I love solo motorbike touring and your channel is one of the best I’ve seen, thank you for putting it out there. 😊
Thanks Ian, glad you enjoyed the 2 series. Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out exploring

Please let us know when the coffee table book of your stills is available.
Thanks for the continued support Malcom, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series. Yes the Himalayan did everything I asked of it, couldn't be happier with the bike.
I am working on what to do with the images, got a few ideas, just have to work out the logistics.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring,
Epic trip Joe, I have loved every episode and look forward to your next adventure! 😊
thanks for the continued support mate, stoked you have enjoyed the series. I am already itching to get back out there.
Some great memories triggered in this video - thanks. Drove a Combi from Darwin to Cairrns 50 years ago (must have been breathing some "fumes" from somewhere / "something" - 4 of us plus a Labrador couldn't work out how to read a dip stick at the Barkley Homestead. The attendant was in hysterics and assured us everything was fine with the oil 🤣). Man, you must have a "cast iron Butt" - an hour on my Himalayan and I've had it - getting old sucks 😄. Looking forward to the next adventure, thanks for sharing, especially with those of us too old to admit how old we really are and can really only dream of trips like this now. Cheers Joe, safe travels.
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
Well we stopped at the QLD border after stopping at Barkley Homestead to get a photos, but the Kombi wouldn't start (the starter motor was getting sticky, we worked out the next day if we hit it with a spanner it would work again) so we pushed the kombi across the boarder but there use to be a cattle grid so they kombi kept going with no one it it haha (we eventually caught it) man was that a shitty road when you hit QLD back then.
I ended up doing 4 day of between 850km and 1000km a day, I was feeling it by the end.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Brilliant mate , looking forward to the Grand Adventure! 👍🍻
Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.

Love watching your videos Joe! Great work doing it all and can't wait for the next
Thanks for the continued support Luke, stoked you have enjoyed the series.
I did a trip on a R1150RT about 15 years ago between Phoenix AZ and Salt Lake City. It started out tee shirt weather under my jacket and come night fall It fell below freezing plus the wind chill factor. There is cold and there is freezing cold and oh my goodness I can't believe I am so clold. Never again. I now take about 10 layers of clothing plus freeze out gear.
haha yer the "I can't believe I am so cold" feeling ya there. Sounds like it would have been an awesome trip though, well with out the I can't believe I am so cold part.
Thanks Joe for a truely remarkable journey round your home countyr. You've shown us the sights from a unique perspective; your photography, videography, editing music and commmentary is outstanding, and I don't say that lightly. I look forward to your vlogs, and save them for a time of the week when I can relax and enjoy them with a coffee or a beer. My goal this year was to get my motorcylce licence, which I achieved in June, I bought a RE Scram 411, and love every minute of riding. You're inspiring me to plan travels further afield. Now where did I put that passport? Thanks Joe, can't wait for the next series, and a superthanks is on the way.
Thanks for the continued support Andy, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
That is awesome that you got your licence and are now out there exploring. Yes the world awaits.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
A nice warm-up Joe. I enjoyed your adventure through Australia very much and am looking forward to more adventures. Love how you handle the bike, especially because I have the exact same bike at home😁. At this moment I’m traveling in Australia myself, from Port Douglas to Sydney and then further on to Adelaide where our trip ends. Unfortunately not on a bike but by car, but enjoying it very much. What a magnificent country you live in. Love it❤️👏🏻. Good luck with the preps on your second trip!
Thanks Swanny glad you have enjoyed the series. You are traveling though an amazing strict of coastline (I have done it many times) Make sure to get off the main HWY a lot, there are so many headlands back beaches small towns along the coast that are amazing.
Hopefully I'll be back out there again soon.
@@freewayproject Yes, we take mostly the alternative routes. Thanks for the tip. Good luck.
Hey Joe, it's been a privilege to be along for the ride with you, and to see your beautiful country. Super pleased you are home safe. Your videos have inspired me to get out more on adventures myself. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you, and many more road trips I hope. Skyler ❤
Thanks for the continued support Skyler, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series, hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.

Thank you for this amazing series!
You are welcome, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
Mate, fantastic finale to this series. I've named my bike Harry..after a certain Brit comedian, planning a trip down to Sth Island somewhere soon. Nelson lakes seems interesting. Looking forward to your next episodes. Cheers Mate.
Thanks for the continued support Simon. South Island you say, well if you see a guy on a Himalayan that looks lost, come say hi.
Greatly appreciate you sharing your trip, honesty, and adventures. Looking forward to your mentioned next videos. As a fellow " indi" rider, would be keen to see your reviews on the bike and gear. Thanks again. Cheers
Thanks for the continued support Dazza, stoked you have enjoyed the series. Yes I should have them out in the next couple of weeks.
Beautifully edited and put together Joe, top marks for that. You had me glued to my monitor right to the end. Just loved those old photo's of your friends and special memories, so precious. I wish you all the best and look forward to join you on your next ride. I'm still riding my motorbike at 65 years old but find it much easier just jumping on the back with you. Thanks for the joy you have given me on your adventures. ❤
thanks for the continued support mate, stoked you have enjoyed the series. Well hopefully I'll be back out there soon.
Hey Joe, have enjoyed every single episode mate. Have loved the video and the photos and drawn inspiration from them all. The last one was great as I’ve ridden through a lot of that area in the last year or two and recognised that country. Eagerly awaiting the follow up episodes so I can learn more about creating. Thanks again!
Thank you for the support Jim, it is greatly appreciated and will go towards the next journey.
Yes that a unique area, very open and vast.
I hopefully will have those next 3 videos out in the next three weeks all going to plan.
Thanks so much for sharing your adventure! I've looked forward to these every Friday - I can't wait for what you'll share with us next! It's been my favorite motorcycle footage on CZcams. I too am not one to name my motorcycles, but I'm inspired by what you said about the Himalayan looking like it just came out of an Indiana Jones movie!! That's exactly the vibe I feel about mine (in fact, I am glad I have my 2023, rather than the new one!). I may co-op that name for mine!! Safe travels Joe and I am excited for what your next project will be!
Thanks for the continued support Sarah, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.
Yes they do have that certain look, Indi is great, I guess Mr Jones would work to 😂. I think the new model is for a slightly different purpose, but as long as your out there riding and exploring it doesn't really matter what you one.
hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.
Absolutely wonderful mate, so enjoyable to watch
Thanks for the support Mike , I'm stoked you enjoyed the series.

Appreciate the replies Joe you sure did cover some ground in good time
Magic job especially editing on the run
See you on your next video
Thanks
Dave
Yes, I actually went to google maps and check the actual distances from Darwin.
day 1. 1001km
day 2. 864km
day 3. 835km
day 4.1011km
No wonder I was struggling at the end, I gather the bike wasn't build specifically for big HWY milage but it got the job done.
YOU are a really high quality human Joe . Massively enjoyed your vids and your photography is just sensational . Your easy and natural humility is heartwarming and observations were great . Thanks for the journey
