Osabisa, David Bowie, Earth Wind and Fire, Steeleye Span, Steely Dan, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Uriah Heep, and more. Stevie is also one of the few artists who can "play the studio," as I call it----play all the instruments, as well as produce his own albums, which he did several times! Others who have accomplished the feat, among others, are Roy Wood and Todd Rundgren! Wood was a founding member of ELO, and went on to have a solo career, and front a band called Wizzard, and Todd is worth discovering, too....a 2-time Rock'n'Roll HOF nominee, who is mentioned as a major influence by a lot of present-day rockers! This year, maybe?

Isn't this so great...I am really loving this. The fashion reminds me of my late sister. She was all about wearing 3 piece leisure suits...lol😳😳 I have tons of pictures of her wearing these suits. Lol. I really miss the dance lines. Where I grew up we had a skating rink and once a month when the skating stopped at 11 pm, we could stay over until 6 am in the morning during the sock hop lock down. It was so fun!!!!! We took off our skates at 11 and danced our buts off till the sun came up. There was this really tall black guy I wish I could remember his name. Omg! All the girls wanted to couple skate with him. He was an amazing skater and I was about 7 when I first started skating. He actually helped me to learn how to couple skate. I was at the sock hop lock down one Saturday night and I got to dance with him during the sock hop dance line. I was 12 years old and I had the greatest time dancing with him without skates. He made dancing so easy he was truly a leader when dancing all you had to do was follow along. Men who take the lead and know what they are doing can move a lady across the floor like she is just floating on a cloud. This guy many times made me feel this way skating but to get to dance without skates with him was amazing. Truly a gentleman that made you feel completely comfortable. I wish I could remember his name. He was awesome. Soul train and American bandstand were awesome to watch. ✌✌✌

Stevie had the top off of a Linn drum machine and was fiddling around with its electronic guts while it was turned on and playing - while blind. One of the engineers rounded the corner and saw what he was doing and turned white as a sheet and said, "Stevie, that thing's live!" "I know." No problem. He got the sound he was looking for and put the lid back on and cut a take with it. LOL

You are "Listening" To a Masterpiece Album which is considered to be one of the Best of all time. Songs In The Key Of Life made History when it was became the First Album by a US Artist to Debut At Number One. Celine Dion sang this as well during her Residency at Cesar's Palace in Las Vegas. It also did "Damage Control" at Motown because 1975-1976 was a very bad year and it was the slow beginning of Motown's Downfall. Diana Ross's Second Movie Mahogany was a "Flop", Smokey Robinson & Berry Gordy were at loggerheads over Songwriting Publishing and there was the Debacle of Florence Ballard Of The Supremes Funeral (1943-1976). Also The Jackson Five left Motown 9 Months before their Contract Ran Out and it resulted in a 20 Million Dollar Lawsuit that was settled in 1981 after Six Years where The Jackson Family Paid back $500.000.00 and gave up their Rights To The Name Jackson Five. This Album showed that Motown still had The Goods. Also The Soul Train Line was the Polar Opposite of American Bandstand's Spotlight Dance where Couples would Dance Just Three so the Kids could see the moves better. Also around that same time Diana Ross went to Number One with Love Hangover written by Pam Sawyer that you may have heard for the Promo for the Last Season Of Mad Men. Jermaine Jackson played Bass on it as well.
