When I used to work recovery I knew of a 1.6 2000 focus in my local area that kept escaping them simply for such dangerous driving from the get go. Saw it twice in a pursuit with my own eyes, It was pursued numerous times on different days and eventually found days after the last attempted pursuit burnt out under an old railway bridge in the middle of nowhere. They never caught the offender simply for not being allowed to pursue it. That was 6years ago though, the laws/rules have changed now so they can pursue anything

You are completely and utterly wrong on the first clip when you said the police were no better. Police pursuit drivers are highly trained, they also have to regularly report the risk/danger and will be told to abandon the chase if the risk to the general public is deemed too high. In this instance it worked out in that yet another idiot has been taken off the road, at least for a bit anyway. Personally I'd rather he had crashed into a tree and the car burst into flames but we can't have everything.

I'm an advanced driver and have always said that the police should not engage in high speed pursuits. They might be trained (and not that highly) but innocent members of the public are not. Imagine a loved one of yours innocently driving along in a 30 zone when a car comes hurtling from the opposite direction doing 70 on the wrong side of the road. And let's face it, when these criminals are caught they usually just end up with a slap on the wrist for stealing a car and possessing a bit of dope. I've watched many of the police programmes on TV and they love a good chase just for something to do and most of them drive on adrenalin and are really not that good. The times I've nearly been hit by cops on the road and in car parks because they're not looking where they're going. Advanced highly trained drivers, my arse.

I can't comment on that particular incident or road but in many cases the existing speed limit isn't inappropriate, the problems are caused by people exceeding the speed limit under inappropriate conditions. When the speed limits are reduced the same idiots still go at the same speeds so there is no improvement in safety. All that happens is that those who obey the speed limits are inconvenienced by having to travel slower.

Let me just get this correct. I’m on 1:14 way through and your text says… “police chasing him at these speeds is no better, just putting pressure on the crim to keep running. This is just adding unnecessary danger to the public”. --
So you want the Police to not apply “pressure” to criminals. - ok that’s bonkers but ok. -- so your idea is to what? Have the police not chase at all?. - remember your text says the police shouldn’t put pressure on the criminal, therefor the second a criminal sees a police car the police car just immediately stop because just the mere presence of the cops puts pressure on criminals. -- your reply is going to be, oh no, I meant for like high speed chases. -- (it’s predictable). The bottom line is, your criticism is so badly misplaced. The whole point of police officers is to investigate crimes at which point that’s putting 100% pressure on a criminal wether they know who the criminal is at that point. --
    Finally I’ll finish with this…
You imagine a person who’s committed armed robbery against a bank and killed 1 or killed 55 people, you would prefer for the police not to give chase, for that robber to then commit armed burglary against a relative of yours and as he did with the bank, he shoots his victims (hypothetically, your mum and dad, or your granddad and Grandma, or your brother and your sister, literally anyone)… your telling me you wouldn’t argue saying the police should have done absolutely everything possible to bring the deranged armed robber and/or armed burglar to a stop?. --
The fact is? If the police behaved how you want them too, then the second their closing in on a criminal, everyone would know, hey… just drive they won’t chase me and they don’t have a helicopter available for every single crime so let’s go get in my go kart because I know they won’t chase me…
Your whole point of that text is to incite more hate towards the police. Just as much as your valid to have that opinion I’m valid in this next opinion that it’s my belief you have a criminal record. Either that or your not even from the UK.
If you don’t, and if you are from the UK then I’m just baffled. But hey, that’s my view.

Not saying I speed (I ride a bike, I'd rather be alive than feel adrenaline for 30 seconds) but it is a little iffy how they position themselves. Well I guess the stupid one here is me. I’m now on 1:36 and if I’d have just watched the end of this chase I could have saved my time and wrote nothing.
As I predicted your in America. However I’d like to point something out… at 1:14 I think it was you say that the police are just as bad for chasing, then at 1:36 you then state it was a very British ending, no big crash, no big firefight and everyone from other commuters, police, and the criminal walk away from this, all unharmed.
You complain 1 minute that the police are equally as bad and then moan about it when the police show why they’re so damn good!.
If that chase happened in America at the very least 4 cop cars would be smashed up, maybe some of the public and all those gun shots that would have happened could have killed anyone.
I was right but also wrong in my initial message… yes your not from the UK which I guessed right, however I thought maybe you just had some beef with the cops and maybe had been pulled and arrested for speeding or something…
Yet it’s actually more easier and a rather simplistic way to best sum you and your channel up…
You are all about the clicks, 1 minute you criticise saying their doing wrong then moan when it ends peacefully and safely…
Quite clearly your plan is to be “controversial” and either annoy people or wind people up so they comment just to justify the algorithm into showing your stuff to more people.
Clearly and at the same time I’m rather sad to actually say this, but quite clearly your doing good because not only did you get an idiot like me to comment after just 1:14 but then you then sent me the other way to then make me comment again at 1:36.
I’ve only seen 1:36 of this video and I haven’t seen any others but sadly I will be watching the rest of this and then most likely another….
Why am I doing this if I think your just click baiting essentially?…. Well because I love anything Police related and ironically 99% of my time on CZcams is American related. I’m either watching some section of US law enforcement or I’m watching something some form of US politics.
I’ve commented twice now, so I’ve done my part for your algorithm. That’ll be it for my messages…. Until the next one.

The chase at 5:20 is just stupid. Didn't take the chances to ram him and allowed him to continue on, where he could easily have killed someone. It's easily worth damaging the car just for the small chance to save someone

  • @killingit2091

Clip 1. The danger to the public will just continue if the guy isn't caught, it would prolong it. Better they give chase and catch him. They need the tyre catchers like they now have in america.. Would end this very quickly. Criminal is gonna criminal with police there or not. Commenter has a silly mentality. The police was calling out what they did and are trained for such driving if they are patrol officers. The traffic was not heavy. The driver running was not trying to smash people up. The risk was not as bad as commenter would have you believe.
Clip 3. You were goaded? You were to one being a tit, stop blaming others for you being a tit. You could've moved over and let him go. you are responsible for your own actions.People need to grow up nowadays aye. Shouldn't be riding a bike with that type of mentality. The stupidity of the comment the only way to not get caught speeding is to do it when the road is empty. You could try not speeding. That's the best way to not get caught speeding. Go take your bike to a track and ride it, that's another way to no get caught. Take a trip to the autobahn in Germany. That's 3 ways off the top of my head without even trying.
