The amazing Bach : Allemande from cello suite No 6,arr.G.Söllscher. Göran Söllscher guitar

This is No 5 out of 6 in my series with the Allemandes from Bachs cello suites.
When I started my channel some years ago,one of my ideas was to present all the cello Sarabandes ,which I did.
Maybe I will choose another mouvement for future videos.
Cello Suite No 6 is the largest of the cello suites.So full of joy,beauty and challenges-musical and technical.

Sir, you give me new appreciation for Bach, even though I've loved and listened to his music and played some of it myself (as a respectful amateur) for over forty years. I recently purchased your Eleven-String Guitar album and realized while listening to it that I had a lot to learn yet about the beauty that lay waiting in his music, because of what you managed to bring out. It seems to me that Bach's music is uniquely imbued with subtleties the notation cannot represent, so that performances can vary enormously. How wonderful it would have been to hear him play his own music.

This allemande is simply breathtaking! I especially like the Enrico Dindo version on the cello but it was so good i thought it impossible to recreate the same magic on the guitar. This wonderful version just makes me want to pick up the guitar again and try to learn it - thank you mr Söllscher :)

Yes,they are all just normal 6:th strings. In this case Aranjuez Silver hard tension

Tack 🎶 diskansträngarna byter jag inte så ofta-kanske 2-3 ggr om året men strängarna 4-6 kan ta slut på en vecka eller två,om jag
spelar mycket. De djupa basarna,7-11,på min 11-str gitarr kan sitta på flera år eftersom jag inte trycker med vänsterhandens fingrar på dem.
