Brian, thanks! What was the book ? “101 Hammond b3 tips”?
Yup that's the one :)
Ethel Smith- Queen of the Hammond… don’t forget Jesse Crawford- Poet of the Organ and possibly Hammonds earliest rep. Ethel Smith worked in South America and absorbed the tunes of the day with a “Latin tinge” which she mastered. Tico-Tico really shows off her exceptional skills.
pages 15 and 22 in my book :)

dear brian, what is the name of the gospel organ player, who has some stuff online? I don´t understand the name. thank you!
Hi Anton C Dub Lewis www.youtube.com/@TheCDUBBrand
I would love to see you explain how to get the sound of Oscar Peterson's organ from 1958 on the "This Is Ray Brown" album. He really goes to town on his solo in "Cool Walk". Do you know that one Mr. Charette? Check it out on here if you haven't heard.
Hi Matt this is a Shirly Scott Block Chord style. The drawbars are slightly random he sounds like he pulled them out to where he liked the sound. There are at points lots of black drawbars. His comping figures are very influenced by big band shouts and wild Bill davis. He actually sounds like he's got a more chil manual on the lower level too for the guitar soul
Liston is not a real doctor.
It's true. I was talking about Lonnie Smith not Lonnie Liston :) they are both not MDs
