I think due to the goals, a lot of people are ignoring the fact that he’s a midfielder and my issue is when an agenda is being pushed that he’s a striker not a midfielder. He’s a victim of his own success because the goals he was scoring everyone ignores that he’s an elite midfielder and he’s only scored 3 goals since the turn of the year, but did anyone expect him to score 50+ goals. It’s difficult to compare Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham because they’re attacking midfielders but their roles are so different.

I think that England’s best midfield at the EUROs when everyone is healthy is Foden Bellingham and Rice in my opinion because as we’ve seen time and time again, Foden is at his best whenever he plays as a number 10 rather than out wide and if that happens Bellingham has to play as a double pivot in midfield next to Rice. I feel like Southgate will use him as a winger because if he starts Foden there that means that Kobbie Mainoo will probably start and while he’s in form, what do you do with Trent Alexander Arnold when healthy because he has to play and he can help England break down low blocks as he’s their most creative player even though he’s a traditional fullback. I feel like it was a quality match with quality goals between 2 of the best teams in Europe in Manchester City and Real Madrid. To be honest, the defending you wonder where it was at, overall 3-3 entertainment goals and quality throughout the game it was a joy to watch and the return leg will be something else man.
