THIS IS NOT A CARDIAC STIMULANT....THIS IS A CARDIOTONIC.........WAH SIR........SUCH A GREATFUL EXPLANATION .....no more confusions........tq u sir ji........
I couldnt understand when i read from tripathi . Katzung and even goodman gillman . But after seeing ur video . The concept is crystal clear . Thank u sir .
Digitalis toxicity can be increased by raised levels of calcium within the serum. With the elevated levels of these ions they more enter into the cardiac membrane and thereby raise intracellular sodium levels resulting in ventricular arrhythmias. That's why lidocaine can be used to treat these digitalis induced arrhythmias by blocking sodium channels. Similarly, hypokalemia can also increase digoxin toxicity.
Sir the ion concentration maintain or restore of ion at minus 90 mv this is phase 4 or phase 3 ???? Sir I chose phase 4 .in phase 4 restoration ion take place at minus 90 mv .if it phase3 then why .please explain ??
Phase 4 is mainly observed in pacemaker cells where membrane potential is around -55 to -60 mv which slowly reaches to -40 mv by opening of calcium and sodium channels within phase 4.

Glad to hear that. Thank you and keep watching.
Brilliant! A very difficult topic for me finally understood. Thank you!
Very clear explanation.thank you sir
You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
I remember my college's Dean asked this question but no one had answered it 😅😅
Very clearly explained. U have made it very intresting and easy to understand.
Omg after 5 days I understood this concept... amazing video
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching !!
Excellent Explanation Sir
Thanks alot for such a nice explanation
thank you so much sir ....very interesting and informative
Thank you. Keep watching.
Superrr explanation 🎉💥
Glad you liked it
This video is very helpful
Increase in which ion concentration causes digitalis toxicity sir?

Very clear teaching🙏🙏
You are welcome. Thanks for liking
Thank you sir...it is soo clear
Dr, can you explain the toxicity of digitalis?
Sir pls upload the video of structure of lurasidone
Great sir
Excellent explanation.
Uffff thanks... I now clearly understood
Sir the ion concentration maintain or restore of ion at minus 90 mv this is phase 4 or phase 3 ????
Sir I chose phase 4 .in phase 4 restoration ion take place at minus 90 mv .if it phase3 then why .please explain ??
It's phase 4 brother . On phase 4 the memberane fully repolarized and became stable till the. Generating next action
Phase 4 is mainly observed in pacemaker cells where membrane potential is around -55 to -60 mv which slowly reaches to -40 mv by opening of calcium and sodium channels within phase 4.
@@egpat thank you sir
