My one regret for this cruise is I didn't plan to take the C1 Outer again (I took the C1 Inner instead). Doing so at that time of night would've afford me a nice view of the Tokyo Tower. I could see Tokyo Tower on C1 Inner as well, but it's not as in-your-face as it is on the Outer. I won't miss that next time.

Audio is from the radio station bayfm78. It was the station I listened to on this drive, although the audio in this video isn't from that day. There's a song in one of the segments that I replaced with another song because otherwise the video would be blocked.
I don't know how people in the 80s and 90s raced on the C1, I felt a bit uncertain going up to 100km/h on those roads already. It takes a different breed than me...
The whole route according to Google Maps should've taken 2 hours, but I suppose because the Wangan was so clear that I made some good time. Should've stayed a bit longer... but it was already 3am when I finished and I had plans the next day. All in all, it was a great experience, especially because the road was just so... nice. I can see why, 30 years ago, this place was a place of legends.
Next trip, I'll definitely hit up Nagoya and Osaka, the lesser known scenes and tracks/roads.

I think that c63 with a black trunk is an official midnight club member. One of the current members has a car just like it.
I wouldn't be surprised, I saw a Mid Night Club stickered 930 hanging around for a few minutes.
