With that six to one gear ratio on a 19-in tire, it should do about 42 on flat land with that setup, after doing that zip tie through the governor spring trick
Hi, I have a Coleman CT200UEX mini bike I just st put my 50 tooth sprocket back on, but my 212 is built for performance it's an engine that I built it has all race parts in it. I had a 44 tooth sprocket on it for AA while but I like the bottom end torque much better. Thank care.
ive always been all straight chain with low gear in rear. riding these things on bumpy dirt roads is a headache i prefer street riding. Also for future reference, its alot easier to loosen and tighten bolts if you tap the wrench with a rubber hammer lol
I’m looking to get one soon. Are the cheaper ones worth my time? Or should I invest into a more expensive higher quality one? 60$ seems super cheap. Thanks :)
@@56135613at I took my 212 predator, and mind you. I didn’t expect it to go so fast because it only has common 12 inch mini bike tires. I put a cam in it work the motor up to about 15 hp I run a 4.2 to 1 gear ratio with 12 inch tires, which is a 17 tooth clutch sprocket and a 72 tooth rear sprocket the bike does almost 58 miles an hour with me driving it and I weigh 250. my set up and he gets up there fast my man real fast

You get more top speed when you remove the jack shaft but you lose torque. Depending on if your riding in the streets with crews, racing, taing them off road, the setup would be different. Torque converter off road, Clutch and chain straight to the rear wheel for racing and street riding.
Mine pulls wheelies and all I did was put a 212cc predator motor on it along with a torque unit and it flies I didn't change no sprocket on it and it does 60 mph that's good for what I use it for
try a torque converter but first bypass that governor. it may be messing with you a 60t should pull wheelies without trying also check throttle limit screw could be a jetting issue or dirty carb also
Hi man love your channel I have a question I have the ct200u-ex a 10 tooth clutch 420 chain a 224 predator my clutch is burning up burning hot alot of pressure on it somebody told me put a 60 t sprocket on it to ease the pressure what you think?
The chain might be to tight or the clutch could be dry and dirty. I have a clutch cleaning and lube video on my channel and some good comment under the video that might help
Can we see a 40t rear, maybe a torque converter and a 20t? Or 30t? Trying to see if we can keep the nice take off speed of a centrifugal clutch with the chain style "torque converter" deleted, but Increase speed at top end by having a taller final drive ratio.
I installed a 38T on my Massimo mb200. Speed went from 31mph to 40. Take off is slightly slower but it cruises along fine at 28mph at 3400 rpms. I'm liking it!
For one get rid of the clutch get a torque unit and put that on it and don't do straight chain you won't have no climbing power at all the only thing straight chain is good for is speed nothing else with a torque unit it will increase top end and lower end power
I only have like one 15 foot hill from my house all the way down the 55mph highway to the supermarkets, so the extra top speed & gas mileage is worth the swap
The jackshaft is better for what the bike is designed to do. I would run the 60 tooth on a Coleman set up for non performance street/road only riding. For trail riding I would use the jackshaft or torque converter. For the Coleman 200's you need to decide on what you want from the bike and go from there. You also need to understand the power limits of stock 196/212 engines. They do not have the power for what many of us want the bike to do.

Try a torque converter + 40t rear.
It’s more general purpose and big rider friendly, but still quick on the take off and good on the uphills.
Just buy a carb than.
Get a racing spark plug and adjust your carb your bike can rev higher at idol as long as at doesn’t move trust me and you will be popping wheelies ..
I picked up a 224 predator for my BTX, as a off roadie trail machine i'm going with a torque converter set up w a 60 tooth rear.
With a set up like that It will definitely be hard to keep that front wheel on the ground, sounds like fun

Definitely
What set up do you have how many teeth on the clutch and how many teeth on the sprocket
I hope that wasn't skin on the exhaust. If it is, you need a header wrap .
It burned a couple pair of shorts
What about a 60T with a torque converter? Would I be able to power wheelie?
It should wheelie with no problem, depending on the size of the rider

Did the 60t help it do wheelies you think?
I think it would if I was smaller, or had the jackshaft setup

10
