No u have to attend all lectures , there is certain percentage of attendance set by every universities which is compulsory , they have rights to complain UKVI immigration if students dont have attendance

For bachelors I think it is difficult bcz you have 3 years and have to pay fees each year but u get more holiday also as compared to masters , to earn and pay.
