Prime Deku is putting in the freaking WORK. Every feat he makes is stronger than the last. Here’s one to show. Deku is punching at maximum power of OFA, and DID NOT break his arm. The days of arm breaking Deku should now be gone. He’s mastered 100%! The boy has officially reached the legend from the beginning!
Remember, Deku is only 16. He's nowhere near his prime. If he gets to keep his quirks, then even a young adult Deku would just be different. Remember, his strength increase took place over the course of a bit over a year, so 4 more years of training before he turns 20 or 14 more years of training if he turns 40 and I have no idea how powerful he'll get.

@@toxicflame9783I called him prime Deku because he’s now officially using the feats of Prime All-Might and past it now. Over the course of this battle he had AFO questioning if his 100% was stronger than the 1st war, to having his hands full but also keeping Shigaraki still, then got an “early goodbye” from All-Might and was suddenly ripping off Shigaraki’s limbs, ripping up MILES of landmass and now has Shigaraki ENTIRELY on the backfoot despite having all his quirks intact. (So the 60x booster All-Might eluded to is now complete because he was NOWHERE NEAR THIS at the beginning of this fight.) His stockpiling is RAPID and he now has 100% mastered so there’s LITERALLY nothing stopping him from stockpiling more.
We are a LONG way away from him being at 45% and Fa Jin for 100% like in season 6.
You are correct though, if Deku were in his early 20’s and was proportionately jacked for that age with how much he’s grown, he would be ENORMOUS.
After reading these comments, I imagined his and Bakugo's past classmates, looking at "monster" (I'm just joking, Midoriya isn't a monster ☺️) that they were bullying for years and can't stop laughing xD
And if they see him at HIS prime their faces will be even more hilarious xD
I believe he Can use more if ofa because of the black whip pretecting his muscle. I think that without it his arms would have been gone so we don't really know how strong he is.
Shigaraki being scared of Deku being paralleled to Kotaro being scared of Tenko is just too peak bro😭
This is where we differ. I loved this chapter. I've never seen MHA as a battle central story, it's always been about the characters and the world for me. The fights are nice, but not why I read it. This is exactly the type of chapter that made me fall in love with the series
Same, the character's emotions and depth is much more appealing to me than relentless action scenes
agreed, looking at everyone's perspectives/checking up on their position in the moment, brings me joy/emotion that makes me enjoy the series more.
We kinda need the side characters perspective, because this truly is Deku's "I AM HERE" moment.
All Might wasn't the greatest of all time just because he could win any find.
He was the greatest because the people believed in him as if he was a god.
This is Deku's moment to step out of All Might's shadow, and show the world he's the man.
That would be meaningless without the populace getting behind him.
This chapter is all a call back to the All might vs All for one when everyone was watching it on TVs and phones in the early chapters.
If eri ever becomes a hero her hero name should be chronocorn, it’s a combination of the words chronokinesis (a word for time manipulation) and unicorn or alicorn (because of her horn).

I kinda liked this chapter. It feels like it finally pays off Deku becoming the greatest hero by having people slowly recognize that. I've always felt that Deku's merits go unnoticed by the general public, with his classmates and teachers most of the time being the only people to give him his due. It happened with Stain and Overhaul, and to an extent when he fought Shigaraki during the War Arc. So it's nice to finally see Deku get some recognition.

I think the significance of Kaminari saying that Deku doesn’t feel like All Might is…. All Might was able to create an illusion. When people watched All Might fight villains, they had the luxury of being able to ignore a lot of what was actually going on in society. Because All Might shined so brightly, people were almost able to feel like there was no danger at all.
The thing about our boy Deku is, he lifted the veil. No illusions. Everyone now sees the fragility of society in its most raw form. We have a teenager who is putting every ounce of his being on the line and he isn’t smiling. He’s suffering. While All Might put on theatrics and faked a smile in order to create the illusion of peace, Deku is authentic and is suffering for the sake of everyone. No one can deny his suffering and now everyone is awake with regard to what heroes really go through and who true heroes really are. This dark reality is unsettling, but it creates a connection between heroes, civilians, and villains; everyone is simply human. Everyone is in this together. Ignorance is bliss. No longer can civilians say “that’s not our job, the heroes got us” because the veil has been lifted. That’s why Kaminari has a slightly unsettled feeling. That’s why we need to know what other characters are thinking. Story telling isn’t just about throwing punches. It’s about what said punches mean

FACTS
I’ve never EVER expected the my hero series to become a battle lusted battle. It’s so great how far it’s come. I’m so glad how deku has grown so much. Horikoshi (I think that’s how you spell it) has really out done himself. It’s enough to make so many people at once cry.
The fandoms doesn’t matter. It’s for the story, characters, growth, and heart warmth. for me, it’s genuinely the fights.
5:38 I honestly will never understand why some people make complaints like this. The amount of nitpicky bs here is insane. Weirdo complaints. Just read the manga. We're seeing how the world is reacting to their fight, this is deku's "i am here" moment. The fight isn't just about throwing punches. It has deeper meaning
There's a scenario where both options can happen. What people don't like is barely being shown what is the final battle and cutting away unnecessarily. The time for that is either before the fight gets too heated or when the literal last attack is being used, not an awkward middle. Or just make the chapter longer.
And most people are over the "philosophical" elements of the fight. Shigaraki needs to die there is no happy ending for him unless he reverts to a child or something stupid like that he cannot be redeemed, they can't even pull a Vader cause All for One is gone and Shigaraki is the last man standing. Horokoshi would have to pull a Kaguya sized object out of his ass to even justify it.

These cuts ARE a part of the fight, why? Because its more than just deku and shigaraki throwing attacks at eachother but also what it means in the greater world of my hero and how its responding to it.

@@diandre2530You must not read a lot of manga, Dude I like MHA but it isn't that deep. especially this fight. On a surface level to the people watching it's good vs evil for Deku on a personal level it's one of the most naive things I have ever seen a protagonist do.
Like it's okay to have morals and ethics and stick to them I really love it when heroes do that kind stuff that being said why is Deku fighting so hard to save Tenko, like really the reasoning behind it is very weak, like everyone has good in them and if you dig deep enough I'm sure you'll find something but his reasoning is the worst I've seen since Steven Universe. Like I can accept it when there's a much deeper personal relationship behind it like parent and child, two best friends, siblings, lovers. I get it, I may not love it but i 100% understand the reasoning behind it. Deku and Shigaraki are not that.
Like I get what they're going for but it's too late. Shigaraki has done way too much to have any semblance of a happy ending, even if Deku "saves" him and doesn't kill him, the man's getting the death penalty, even the kindest laws wouldn't let Shigaraki live he killed hundreds if not thousands of people, permanently wounded several others, destroyed national land marks, killed America's number one hero he has no future that's why when a tragic character like Shigaraki is in a story like Vader from star wars or Obito from Naruto they have to kill them because there is no believable happy ending they can have, all they can really have is peace of mind.
The villains in MHA work best as cautionary tales to learn from to prevent tragedies like theirs from happening again.

The story has already given numerous examples on why Deku wants to save shigaraki and this very same chapter builds on that idea. You're either ignoring or forgetting the themes and ideas that have been setup in the story since the very beginning.

And like I said before Deku's need to refuse to give up on Tenko and showing his unwavering belief in the goodness of others, is a fine sentiment to have almost every mainstream superhero in western comics has it, and a lot of Shonen Manga in general. It just really doesn't apply here.
And like I said before even if Deku can "save" Tenko then what, ask yourself for more than a minute, Shigaraki is the most dangerous known villain in Japan maybe even the world who has committed numerous life altering crimes on both a national and international scale. with characters like Sasuke he got away with his crimes because he not only played a pivotal role in not only saving the world he also got vouched for by the Hero of the war Naruto and Hokage Kakashi who basically had the authority of a president, we are told numerous times that without all of that Sasuke would still be in jail, Vegeta gets away with his crimes mainly because no one who matters has seen him actually kill anyone innocent in the Saiyan Saga Nappa did most of the killing, no one who matters saw him slaughter the namekian village, and the only time they saw him senseless kill people is when they had a he was not in his right mind excuse because of Babidi's magic
There's four options for him, have Eri rewind him back to a child and I don't need to tell you why that's a bad idea writing wise, Deku looks the other way and let's Tenko escape, and again I hope i don't have to explain why that's a bad idea writing wise, he's imprisoned for life or he get's the death penalty.

The thing is Deku is one of the few characters that you don't see kohi spends a lot of chapters explaining all of his thoughts.. Which in the end shows us the simplest ideas and thoughts of deku..unlike characters such us endeavor, bakugi or shigaraki...However in this chapter i saw why..you got to see everyone speaks about him and that way of his thinking or trait of his character that made them like, believe and get inspired by him while he fights alone against the final boss even though his broken,can't breath and half dead..
Making him appears as what gran torino said in the s2 "he is sleeping monster" just to achieve what he believes in..and the world is seeing what this 16YO is doing.
Ngl I hate when a thing only shows you the fight it becomes boring and stale if we just see full fights 24/7 seeing the world's reaction and the people who we built up see these fights and then not just being stagnant till needed makes the world better

No offense, but I like the emotional moments way more than the action we wouldn't even be invested in the shigaraki vs deku fight if it weren't for the emotional moments. Seeing Kota and Eri refer to Izuku as 'big bro' is adorable and to me speaks way louder to what Deku has done for them than the fights we saw him do, it shows that Kota has regained hope in heroes, eri truly knows what it's like to be happy and that she doesn't want to feel scared anymore, that people can and will help them.

If "having the worst fights" is the consequence of showing us how events effect people and the world around them while also using the chance to make side characters a little more relevant instead of just dismissing and never seeing them again. Then that's fine with me. I think it's one of MHAs charms.

Good video but i don't know what you where cooking at 5:40 this chapter is one of the reasons why MHA fights are so good the emotionally charged elments from background characters as well as build up from previous chapters makes every action that Deku makes leaves you on the the edge of the seat.

5:40 What a such huge L take lol this criticism makes no sense at all. It's been many chapters Deku & Shigaraki are fighting with many amazing visuals, but there is way more deep and meaningful plot points around to it. Horikoshi is building up Deku's biggest moment ever in the story and everyone watching and cheering for him is extremely necessary. The whole point of the flawed hero society is that they cannot depend on a single person, that being All Might, which is something was brought with Denki in this chapter.
This section of the video only to try downgrading the core theme of the story and ask for a pure generic fight alone is ridiculous. Plus the cherry on top of saying MHA has the worse fights in shounen which is another false affirmation. Videos and unfair takes like this is what brings MHA down everytime.
I fell in love with watching the show because of the noble heroism.
Kaminari, the difference between All Might and Izuku is that you, like everyone else, saw All Might as a god amongst men. You never saw him lose, always coming out on top with a smile on his face and hardly a scratch on him.
But you've been next to Izuku since UA started for the school year. You saw him get hurt, exhausted, and bedridden. You don't worry for him because you don't believe in him, but because he's your friend and you don't want to see him getting hurt as much as he already has.

It would be next nice if tenko could be rewound back to when he was a boy and be allowed to live his life either with his original quirk before he was given decay or quirkless.

Things I think will happen.
1. Kacchan will reappear to help deku stop shigaraki.
2. Eri will get a quirk awakening that will allow her to help deku.
3. Shigaraki will become tenko again but he will have bit one for all and the original all for one.
4. While seeing each others memories bit deku and shigaraki will see a memory of deku’s dad.
5. Deku and shigaraki will both lose all their quirks.

I doubt number 5. Remember, an unawakened version of Eri's quirk could bring Mirio's quirk back, so I think Deku could get everything back. On top of that, this story was supposedly told in the perspective of a full fledged hero Deku saying "this is how he became the world's greatest hero", so I doubt he'll lose everything if he's still doing hero work and is still the world's greatest hero.

I think the strength of MHA doesn’t lie on the actual fights, but rather the emotions behind the fight. This chapter was amazing. I understand that we are constantly getting deviated from the actual fight but I believe it was never meant to be about a physical fight. What awaits next is more interesting.
Good video, but I don't understand where you're coming from about seeing the entire fight in this particular moment. For one, Deku is literally just ripping through fingers to get to Shiggy. That's not much of a fight, more so a step to get to the fighting, as Deku can't touch Shigaraki at all currently. Second, cutting to other characters for input has always been done in MHA, a lot of other Shonen do it too, it's called making the fight impactful.
Think about it, without all the emotional weight behind AFO vs All Might earlier in the series, what would you have for that fight? I think around less than 6 actual attacks were exchanged there. Neither All Might or AFO did anything spectacularly cool in terms of choreography. But the cutting back to characters like Deku, or Japan watching, or the newscasters, that's what made it so tense. It really made you understand that this man is the last symbol of hope, fighting against the ultimate evil. If he loses it's over.
I'm not sure who's saying MHA has some of the "worst fights in shonen" but that's an utterly stupid take. Sure fights can be all DBZ style with nonstop hands being thrown, but I'd suggest reading up on how to progress a story and characters *through* fights, as opposed to stopping a story to show a cool fight. There's a big difference.

I love plot armors videos on mha but I do think a lot of fans do not appreciate the smaller moments with other characters, but they should because it adds to the impact!
MHA is my favorite manga right now because of the emotional storytelling and good character arcs horikoshi has written, it adds so much depth (like you said) to all the fighting that everyone seems to be so impatient about... I say let horikoshi cook man I've loved this final arc so far, I personally think this chapter is fire 🔥

I'm gonna disagree with you with there not being great fights in this series, but it's kind of the point that they don't resolve every battle with a big fight when it comes to the kids, particularly Deku. Deku doesn't want to hurt people or want to fight, really. He says it right from day one: he just wants to help people. One of my favorite cartoons growing up is Justice League/unlimited. I always liked the characters and how they acted in and out of costume, but it wasn't until I watched the episode Flash and Substance that I realized why I liked them. For all his power, the Flash, Wally West, was ultimately just a nice guy. He gave medical advice to a cab driver with bad knees, he checked in on some fishermen and shot the breeze, he was going to paint an old lady's fence, and to tie it up he appealed to the Trickster who knew he was mentally ill and worked to be his friend rather than his enemy. The true mark of a hero isn't, and should never be, the ability to bench press a planet. It's handy, make no mistake, but you won't make any affirmative change if all you see are nails in need of a hammer. It's why characters like the Flash particularly have museums in the DC universe because they demonstrate what genuine human kindness can do in this world where we are overly cynical and politically biased. Deku embodies this heroism at its finest. He never wanted to be the strongest hero. In fact, being the strongest has been his curse more than his blessing from damaging his body to putting a target on his back. But power never changed who he truly was and what he wanted to be: a hero like All Might whose body moved without thinking with a smile perpetually parting his lips.

I feel like i need to say this, MHA may not have the BEST fights but i disagree with the whole WORST fights, now i don't know what your tastes are but frankly i have enjoyed what has been going on here because the fights have all been personal in nature...Shoto VS Dabi, Ochako VS Toga, even the PLF before attack on the hospital was personal and i felt that does stories needed to be told. The same goes for Midoriya VS Shigaraki is personal and needs more than them just beating the shit out of each other.
What about Armored All Might vs AFO and Bakugo takes over for All Might after saving him from almost get killed by AFO

I know it subtracts from the fight but I don't mind Hori tying up the other plotlines properly, so that the focus can be fully given to Deku and Shigi.
Well, I am so intrigued to see how this will continue.We still have several other scenes and Battles going on, and something tells me that the tide will soon turn once more in Shigarki's and the villains favor, requiring more assistance to Deku. One can only hope Horikoshi will keep the goods coming and include and use again more characters as much as possible 😊

@@Rjay9292 I wouldn't be surprised if they kill off Uraraka but if they do, I'm done with mha, that will be the final straw. I think it would be more likely that she would die during a fight but she's always been treated like a side character so she probably doesn't get that courtesy.

@@Rjay9292 I've never been too worried about the villains but Stain being dead is quite the blow because he was actually a quite complex and well written character. I can also understand its annoying for other people who do care about the villains (I've been there before, I never thought I'd care so much about villains until the mcu gave us loki).
Does that mean all might and aizawa are still alive for now. Even if they're in bad shape, I don't want to see them go because they can still have great character moments and fun scenes without being on the front lines.
I also really want aizawa to be okay because I play the mha card game and aizawa was the first deck I built and used competitively. Similarly, I've since built an uraraka deck so she's an important character to me too.

Yeah that flashback happens yeah they do kill the CRC in a flashback its pretty quick an bloody after words but it shows the CRC talking trash about Spinner than Spinner saying what they stand for than the LOV all getting ready to fight Shigaraki decays one than they all go into fight mode. Than there looting the corpses. Well Twice and Compress looting the place when they 1st walk in.

For anyone wondering about ochaco. Even though she’s in bad shape, she will still make it. Bakugou was on near death but if he can make it, so can she. Plus there is a vision of the future where ochaco is there and bakugou is there too and he survived.

Why I hate the added fanbase now... where those who weren't happy when it started to those who came back just because its popular. I LOVE the fact the fights used to just be ONE punch or ONE hit moments like a samurai fight, to the reactions and ALMOST Godzilla like approach, showing off the ground level of these World ending events, don't get enough of them with imagining looking outside and see clusters of light shattering the heavens AND only getting a small perspective from a phone. I mean come on, CAN you imagine just everyone knowing everything and how it went because the reader knew?
