Pete Astudillo speaks fluent Spanish, and it became evident in his lyrics. So Los Dinos music "stepped it up" a notch or two or three, or more, just by having Pete write their songs. Pete is an awesome Spanish song writer. He kicks it outta the ball park evrry time. I went to one of his concerts in Mercedes, TX around 2000-2008 and he and his band performed "De Piez a La Cabeza" by Mana, and Pete kicked azz! I didnt know he could do rock. I was in awe. 🤔🥰😍

Selena and Pete recorded / performed some incredible duets - each of their voices just seemed to compliment the other's so well. It was one of those rare team - ups that always seems to result in musical magic. Actually, anybody doing a duet with Selena couldn't lose with her as half of it. And, of course, Pete's songwriting leaves nothing to be desired. And then, there's Chris, a phenomenal guitarist who played a big role in making the band's sound cutting - edge and unique. Just listen, for instance, to his solo during Selena's performance of "Set Me Free" in San Antonio in the early 90's. Incredible. Sometimes, it seems as if God wills certain people, each talented in their own right, to come together, with amazing results. That was definately the case with SELENA y L0S DIN0S.
Wow, Chris still looks so young and vibrant. But it' still a tear jerker because of thinking about Chris and Selena just missing her. GOD bless you both. Thanks, great show.

I love Selena, i listen to her alot..especially while cooking and cleaning. I dance with my youngest son to her music... As soon as he hears Selena singing he comes running to the kitchen to dance with me.💕

Selena AND Selena y Los Dinos need to be in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame ASAP!!! I've recently said that The Dinos were like Earth, Wind and Fire Caliber minus the horns, or even like Sade's GREAT band minus the horns. They were definitely one my All Time favorites💯 SO MUCH Talent & SKILL from them👍🏾👍🏾

Yeah it was too easy for her. She was a Female Usain Bolt of Singer/Performers before the real Usain Bolt. She could DOMINATE, and giggle and smile her way to record breaking moments and awe dropping performances while still leaving you wanting more!! Genre Proof💯

Selena Quintanillas story stands as the cornerstone foundation of the present day Human Rights/Anti-Human traffickicking, forced career, and Social Justice movements in a technologically advanced society. The modern day entertainment industry in particular the music industry as well as various communication and communications media have also been largely founded by those present involved in the production of these events which stand as a most severe matter. We see here in every instance the forced nature of the career of every female artist as well as others on hand in the most physically intrusive manners; who appear in this tejano so called racially commercialized and community destroying endeavour. Which has effectively silenced the voices of entire communities and the human rights movement as a whole. This behavior has continued till present day, simultaneously we see those personally accountable for what truly is a human catastrophe for all society as a whole and brazenly promotes complicity to an already at risk population. The abusive tactics used to intimidate persons vulnerable like Selena Quintanilla highlights the need for immediate societal education. Education on forced relationships, which clearly begets the norm here, and crime free atmospheres which are needed in an advanced tech society faced with long term accountability. Even one such instance resembling what we see here such as that of Ariana Grande has been globally lambasted for offensive volatility, why is this still being allowed in global silence here.
