i hope you enjoy this long vlog that was supposed to be a week in my life but turned out to be about my three midterms i was going through---- and now it's april?? so of course editing maria was flooded with so many clips. it ended in an all-nighter O.o which is extremely unusual of me. fortunately i felt motivated throughout these weeks & overall enjoyed my psych rotation! i even liked writing the oncobiology paper hhh
anyhow!!
right now i'm in my family medicine rotation, which i am absolutely loving. it has actually been one of my favorite rotations ever so far. i'm feeling very welcome and learning a whole lot. i'll see u soon friends... do let me know how you've been doing?

I literally bought “North and South” yesterday, as I finished watching the BBC adaptation and loved it 💞 I’m travelling next week and I’m planning to read it on the airplane, tell me what you think of it! Your vlogs always bring me comfort especially when you talk about books haha 🌸
omg what a coincidence!! you will love it 🙈 i believe it to be better than the adaptation >< they change events like how people meet or where conversations take place as a way to hasten things in the show. maybe it makes a better adaptation but it’s not always faithful to the original so you will notice the differences :))
the book is a slow story for sure but it is SO GOOD the writing is impeccable and the characters and spiteful passion/ hatred love is sooo good 😭💗 i loved it but it did take me a while to finish. but it’s so worth the time because you end up the book feeling so involved in their lives and with such satisfaction with the ending 🙈

hi Maria! i'm watching this two days later but here i am. i just wanted to say that Mendeley is a good tool to cite papers. it can be added to Word as an extension, then you can upload the pdfs or documents you want to cite or reference and choose a style of citation. when writing the project you just have to select the paper you want to cite and it automatically adds as bibliography at the end. it saved a lot of time for me, hope i helped you or someone else 🙌 i'm loving these long vlogs!!!

yeah, sometimes i wake up with pain on one side of my neck, or go to bed really stiff. actual pain, that stops me from doing my everyday activities or doesn't go away in like a day, thankfully no. but i do have discomfort and i have to be careful because i forget to stretch in my breaks or do yoga frequently to balance these long hours out.
