Why does it matter which side gets the finer filter? Seems like the air you are going to breathe passes through both before it gets to you. I would think you would want it to go through the less fine filter first. But you want it to go through the finer filter first? Why?

thanks bro. this helped very much. I am American but living in Switzerland. The instructions I have are in German French or Italian. Your video was in beautiful, understandable ENGLISH. Thanks again. Ron Guida

For the ComfoQ600, your website sells the MERV-15 and carbon filters, the MERV filter has an orientation label on the filter itself, but the carbon filter has no orientation label. Could you please post a video or let us know what is the proper orientation and order to install the two filters together in the comfowell box? Thanks!

Can you clarify which filter should go on which side? The pics that pop up in the video are not clear. At 25 seconds the pic shows Return Air and Supply Air on the left side of the unit and the Exhaust Air and Outdoor Air on the right side. Then at 50 seconds the pic of the filters shows Merv 13 Supply Side and Merv 7/8 Return Side. The earlier pic shows Supply and Return Side are both on the left side of the unit.
If the red filter is Merv 13 does that mean it goes on the left side that handles the interior air?

The Red Merv 13 filter comes to the right side.

your question led me to research a bit more. The reason why most videos won't share which side should have the Merv 13 is because comfoair350 comes with a left handed and a right handed model. If it's a left handed, ComfoAir 350 - LEFT
, return and supply air is on the left side (when the filter covers are facing you), so you put the Merv 13 on the left side. Some comments might have the return and exhaust mixed up, but return and supply are on the left, while exhaust and outside air are on the right. Your comfoair should have a label that tell you if its a comfoair350 "L" or "R". You can also tell if your ComfoAir 350 is a LEFT handed version if you find the condensation valve at the bottom is on the RIGHT. Confusing right?

You graphic s says put Merv 13 on the supply side. The earlier graphic has the word "supply" on the left. Then in answer to a question by another viewer you say put the Merv 13 on the right. Which is it? It seems like this is one of the key points of the whole video, but you don't say in your narration where to put which filter and your graphics which purport to answer this are small, brief, ambiguous and contradicted by your reply to a question in one of the comments.
