- Exploring some easy off-road trails in The Johnson Valley area. This Place has so many different trails and areas to see. I'm planning on checking out most of the trails that are Subaru friendly, so stay tuned for more from JV.

Great video. Love the Google Earth views. Provides great reference points to help understand where places actually are on a map!
Fantastic editing!
Great video. I’m also digging the Google Earth maps.
Nice 👌
Real nice video, and you are courageous doing this exploration trails on your own.
I haven't found anyone with a Subaru that likes to do the trails I like. Also, I don't think I'd want to go with a big group either because I like to go at my own pace. Besides people would probably get annoyed having to stop and wait for me to change camera batteries and setup tripods for the drive by shots haha.
I haven’t found anyone that wants to do trails with Subie one my area. Everyone has Jeeps
@@savannamillen7276 I've had the same problem where I live in Yucca Valley. Everybody here has Jeeps or other Huge off-road vehicles. I see lots of Subies too but nobody that looks like they go off-road in them. That's why I started this channel to show people that Subarus are actually pretty good little trail cars. If you ever want to do a trail together let me know. I'd be curious to see how much better a Wilderness handles trails than my stock Outback.
If you keep going it will lead to Barstow
are maps available online for the trail numbers? I was in Gold Crown area, and so many divides in the trails got me really confused
It's hard to find one place online that shows the names of every trail. I spend a lot of time on google earth getting familiar with an area before I go there. Also The GaiaGPS app helps to find trails. Another resource is BLM National Data page blm-egis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=6f0da4c7931440a8a80bfe20eddd7550 Make sure to check the Ground transportation linear feature layer, it shows the names of trails that fall within BLM land.
@@subietrails2750 thank you for the response! I will look into that link!
are the roads bumpy/ unmaintained at the entrance getting in ???
The main road through Johnson Valley is Camprock road, it's a very well maintained road that any car can drive on. You can go all the way from Johnson Valley to Barstow at around 50 mph on it.
Where was the last hill you were on in this video?
It's a random trail marked OM6621 near Quill Spring 34.66222, -116.89097
