  • In the lava fields surrounding the Pipkin Cinder Cone there are several locations with Native American rock art. If you're willing to do a bit of exploring you'll discover many great sites. If you do decide to visit this area please be respectful and tread lightly. Meaning don't deface any of the historic petroglyphs and don't be an idiot and throw your bear cans all over the place.. you know who you are!.

That is so cool! You are on the old old road. We use to visit that area all the time back in the day before it was all closed off. Did you ever get to see the Rodman geoglyphs?

I use to live in Johnson valley. You need a sand rail!
