That's how these kits assemble. It's not too noticeable, or a problem in person, to bring the wheels in more you can remove about 1/8th of an inch off of the rear steel axle. That should be enough to tuck the wheels in closer to the differential.

Sorry to hear that about your jeep, No when I got mine this was not an issue. They were problem free on my build.
You do ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL WORK. I was hoping you would no we're I could purchase a 1/6 Scale MODERN BATTLE TANK like a T90, ABRAMS, LEOPARD 2A6, in metal. Can't find any modern tanks that size anywhere. Old tanks yes no problem, but there's like 10 million TIGER 1 tanks. So if you could help I'd be MOST GREATFULL THANK YOU. Scott
There is a guy out in Eastern Europe who makes modern 1/6 armor. I can't speak for the quality or reliability as I have never worked on one or seen one in the flesh, however the link is here. www.mark-1-tank.net/
However these are in fiberglass not metal. I am unaware of anyone who produces modern 1/6 armor RC in metal.

And can it be used directly in a Rc conversion
No, The model is designed from the getgo to be static display. To RC convert you will need to pitch all suspension / chassis parts

question did you know that armorpax does carry the aerial base bracket? the reason I asked is because I was not sure if you were aware of this or not..... nice job on that by the way...another thing that you forgot to mention and mine did this is that the front end is somewhat fragile and will brake but easily repairable, great job on the model good review keep em coming
Yes I'm aware of his, and it's a nice piece. I scratch built mine because of when I made my model his part was not developed and listed on his catalog at that time

No, that was another version. The armor one from what I can remember was a DX show special and was a pre built model

There was no original color, However a good color to use is either Tamiya Olive drab, Krylon Olive Drab, and Model Master Green drab... a little darker of a tone then the first two I listed. As for the Gun mount, no it's not included but the one you see on my build is made by me and is listed on the ECA website eastcoastarmory.com/soft_skin.htm

why didnt you go to glass shop and have real glass cut for the windshield.
Because the lexan was easier to work with, was lighter, and mounted to the frail frame easier then real glass. That and is more durable than glass

+Sergio Enriquez I don't sell the kits, this one was purchased online and I built it for my collection. As for finding one, since this video came out this kit has been OOP, and have become hard to find lately as stocks have dried up. Dragon has released a few other versions namely the SAS variants, but the standard jeep is not as common anymore. Your best bet to find one these days is on ebay

It's my own blend that I mixed together.
These are great modal Jeep's I have one that is built into a RC as well as a 67 Five Star hasbro Jeep, But Dragons are much better
This is NOT R/C.....whats the point???
Not everything needs to be RC you know. For this build I just wanted a basic exterior detailed static jeep model. For RC I would rather save the money and time and use those resources on an armortek tank of the same scale.
