awesome as always, crazy beat, id just add like a gritty gross beat preset on the melody on the 2nd part of the beat or the 2nd verse to give it more highs
Hi,bro.i'm a learner from China.its always dope to see your new tutorial coming out.and i just have a question about sampling. you know some awesome beats usually sampling, such as welcome to the party of woobaby.but actually i dont know the tricks of sampling, such as the reverse or something. and please forgive my poor English 🥲🙃🙃
Fin, great tutorial, straightforward and direct...quick question, whats your approach to adding "swing" in your beats to get that head nod...I've been struggling w/ which hits to adjust and by how much...
If I can give my opinion, people tend to believe that the swing come from the drums while I believe the melody is maybe the main element of your bounce. I noticed that by using the exact same drum patterns on two different project and noticing that the beat with the most "moving" melody was the one that make my head nod while the other one was not making me move. So maybe focus on making harder and more tonic melodies that really will move you.
Mess with the velocities on your snares and hats. If you’re laying drums down on the sequencer in FL studio there’s a little swing tab on the top right corner. Move it anywhere from 2-6% whatever sounds right to you. If you’re laying down drums in the piano roll click on “none” in the snap selection and move all your drums just a tiny bit from the grid line so they’re all not hitting at the exact same time.
Wick from Jacksonville tho lol I feel like it’s weird that you have encyclopedic knowledge about every aspect of they production but u don’t even know what city they from
@@Finnathegod i recommend u to appeal against the claim, because its not the same as Nardo's song, the sound is the same but u used different patterns. And u used a serum preset, which i unfortunately couldnt find on the internet, so how can they claim copyright to a sound that is not theirs u know what i mean?
@@djappiebeatz thats the thing, i did and they refused to lift it, at that point it comes down to the owners and if they reject it a second time it removes the video

Nardo from florida 💀💀💀
So do you use the old fl cuz that’s what you’re used to I’m yet to update it
i kno its not easy but could you do a tutorial about the weeknd on some trilogy type shit?
combine dark ambient trap melodies with some serum/other synth type of shit
also incorporate late 00s/early 10s edm techniques
@@tajsu7109 aight thanks bro
@@nachoodn00 drum wise, dont use trap drums except maybe hi hats and rare snare rolls. Patterns make them 1-2 bars long, basic and spaced out.
DO A BEAT ARRANGEMENT VIDEO

Where’d you get that theme from with the black mixer purple meter?
Help, I used the same 808 that you provided in the description but I still cant get the tone to match the end of this video
Fin, great tutorial, straightforward and direct...quick question, whats your approach to adding "swing" in your beats to get that head nod...I've been struggling w/ which hits to adjust and by how much...
Tbh I just stick to nothing more than first instinct and whether or not I’m bobbing my head to it.

make the claps on your beats a lil off beat or hi hats for that mpc swing
To be clear, of course the drums are the main asset of your bounce, but the melody is too, just don’t forget about it
How do you get your bars to say 1-2-3-4 when it's really 8? Trying to learn the HH pattern but it's confusing to recreate
i still do not know how to fix that, its just a bug with fl that for some reason I only I have
