I met Qasim for the first time in Plan9, we applied in the same cohort. Unfortunately my startup didn't make it at the last stage but CampusFeed among others made it through.
It was saddening at the moment for me but I continued to work on my startup and moved it aboard and went places and launched.
Now looking to start another startup in the near future.

Private and government sector ki collaboration k sath Techlift k nam se kafi acha program chl rha he jismr CureMD, Contour, Arhamsoft aur bhi kafi achi companirs train kr rhi hen IT resources ko free men in lahore, islamabad and karachi. It's a good initiative. I have switched my field from mechanical engineer to IT through a BootCamp by CureMD.
But yes, a lot more needs to be done yet.

Good discussion, I am liking the direction your podcasts are taking these days Muzammil. Agree with most that was said but I think the part where it was said that bigger companies are looking for senior talent is something I don't agree with and it was sort of dealt with later too, companies are looking for people they can hire at lower costs but the key is their flexibility and their commitment, I see that we as south asians are generally hardworking and try to ensure completeness...some pakistanis do tend to take things lightly but once you are in the corporate world and have responsibilities...people tend to get more focused. As long as there is commitment , even if the skill set is not as developed...big tech companies will be willing to work with, sometimes even basic communication skills prove enought too as long as you understand whats required and deliver..... InshaAllah the future is bright...

Good talk! A REQUEST TO REMOTEBASE: 🙏
"Unfortunately, you couldn't pass this stage.
You should be able to re-attempt the test in 3 months"
I passed 3 stages with flying colors and failed the 4th phase. I request the "3 months" period to be "3 weeks" or "3 days". "3 months" is toooooooooo much to be given a chance for a reattempt! Don't you think so @Qasim sb?
    Thanks, Umer

    @Muzamil bhai
    السلام علیکم ورحمتہ اللہ
Most of the conversations that I heard are revolving around university students.
If this is purely about Pakistan, What about the students who studied in the Govt. Post Graduate Colleges? It's like a whole boys school and I believe you can interrogate the education type.
What about those students who spend 4.5 years and then only the ones who move to internships get 25-30k max salary. What about their training? What about polishing that talent that is being wasted every year.
Moreover, Most of the students in Govt. Colleges are self learned and can perform much better than uni students beacause we are based on self learning.
    Hope you'll get the point.
    Thanks,
    Ali

On a very vert light note, one of your questions started at 39:00 and ended at around 44:00 :D Reminded me when Khan sb said you ask very long questions hahah. But I guess keep doing that, that is your style and nothing was irrelevant.

Perhaps someone who can work within the global framework and come up with new innovative ideas in the specific areas of biotechnologies. Love your show.
