Welcome to La Porte, Texas. La Porte is located just East of Houston in Harris County. I recently found out that there is a beach in La Porte called Sylvan Beach!
My Hometown is 🧡🖤 La Porte, Texas 🖤🧡. I grew up onThe Northside Of La Porte. It was where mostly Our Black Families lived, Hisstorically, The Northside bred doctors, lawyers, professional athletes, judges, pastors, teachers and educators, musicians(I am One Of The Greats, to say the least), etc. I lived on North 5th(renamed Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd), between Tyler And Adams. I Love My Hometown!!!! I'm A BULLDOG For Life!!!! Class of 1993!!!! 😉🧡🖤😉
Remember Vista Baywood and Flamingo Bay on Broadway? I miss my old apartments. La porte has changed alot since my time and your time. I lost contact with alot of friends from the Northside. I had alot of memories from the Northside.

my hometown i grew up there and went to school there
they added that beach and when i was there there was a rocket looking incinerator
you go to Morgans Point that's the mouth of the ship channel
I used to live directly behind the high school in 1975. I used to ride my bicycle out to Morgan's Point.
This part of Texas is heavily influenced by Louisiana.
