  • There have been brawls, bruised egos, boycotts, blame-games, even flying shoes - and Tony Jones has been in the driving seat for nearly all of it.

What about when Christopher Hitchens totally owned everyone on the panel including Waleed Aly?
That shit's on my spotify playlist man. Even Tony couldn't wipe the smile off his face!

That made me cringe, it was actually embarrassing how overwhelmingly outmatched and outclassed everyone on that panel - and a lot of the audience - was by Hitchens. Showed how lightweight the show actually is, and how shallow our intellectual bench is in Australia.

@@bigbowlowrong4694 Have you watched Richard Dawkins and Cardinal George Pell's debate on Tony Jones programme in 2012. The audience in that episode was totally different and full of intellectual dishonesty, the audience already had in their minds to disagree with Richard Dawkins and to support the Cardinal.

A good serious program and one that often gets heated. It’s basically the Aussie counterpart to BBC Question Time

QandA used to be better, now it’s just so one sided it’s not worth watching. It’s no longer a conversation but a lecture.
