Hey may have acted like a jackass, but at the end of the day he was their jackass. Loved how they realized that after the reunion movie.

Stiffler carries the rest of the films, and that was down to Sean's performance
There would not have been a franchise without Stiffler,
@@vinvass2674 Yeah, in the first film, Stiffler was a minor character added to the film for a little extra comedy. But after the films release, the film makers found out how popular Stiffler was and gave him a bigger part in subsequent films. Without Stiffler, the sequels all would have probably been duds.
@@GrnXnham Stifler definitely became the main character of the Franchise after the first 2, pulled a Fonzi/Happy Days type thing, Wedding and Reunion were more Stifler movies.
It's like the Minions movie - you can't have the joker of the room carry the movie alone. He may have been the main character but we love the movies as a whole. Him alone wouldn't have been it.
Apparently he was only paid $8000 for the first American Pie ..he should have complained to the Actors Union. ..
So the guy that they don't invite to the wedding is the same guy that:
- Teaches Jim how to Box Turn Dance
- Got the wedding dress that Michelle wanted
- Manage Jim's Bachelor Party.
- Destroyed & replaced the flowers with his own money.
- Saved the entire wedding of Michelle & Jim.
Stifler is always a screw-up but a loyal friend to the end.
You forgot about Jims Grandmother lol
The problem is that he usually caused tons of problems before he fixes them.
Remember when Jim tried to have a nice dinner with the in-laws only to walk into a surprise bachelor party.

From the opening comment those last 2 points are the same, first he wrecked everything and then he tried really hard and fixed it. Problem is if he wasn't irresponsible in the first place then no need to fix🥴.
Now the wedding dress thing was also a total fluke because he unknowingly walked in to a gay bar 🤣. So I agree that was just all good without messing up first though.
Great romantic comedy though that revolves around mess ups hilariously turning around. 🤣🤣🤣 Jim's proposal at start for example. Lol and missing from that list is Stifler changing grannies mind at the wedding 😋.
@@EvilLoynis Jim told Stifler to surprise him with the bachelor party. It's Jim's fault he didn't tell anyone about his plans with the in-laws. But otherwise I agree. Most of the things he did was just fixing what he messed up to begin with.

I've heard people argue that dance scenes in comedy movies are just an easy laugh to throw in without much wit. But when it's being done with hilarious comedy actors like Sean William Scott who can pull off the moves and facial expressions, combined with that kind of direction/execution, then they are a joy to behold.
Aww, cut off the end, where the bigger dancing guy said, "You got yourself a dress." This was to get a wedding dress made for Jim and Michelle's wedding. I love the scene. It shows Stifler using his crazy, manic frat boy personality for the good of others.

The whole wedding decoration idea occurs after Stiffler has a change of character after nearly fucking everything up... Did you watch the film? That's like the whole crux of him doing that; it shows he has changed from being selfish to selfless.
Loved Stifler's realization that this became a dance-off. What did he expect? He literally started dancing to show off his "sophistication and style" to Bear, then getting into his face and call him out. Then he pulled out his dance moves to really let loose. Finch was stunned and even impressed at the end.
This is one of my favorite scenes! Sean Williams Scott (Stiffler) is freakin awesome and funny as hell!!

It's clear that this character is a world champion. Especially year in the scene.
As a guy, it's not exactly my case. But I have to admit that as silly as this character is, he's just as cool. Lord God... I could kill for that level of confidence, confidence and coolness.
I know it's not necessary to over-mystify a fictional character.
As I watched this scene, I realized something. Actually, friends and buddies told me that I used to be a cool, confident, cheerful chick. But now I'm just a shadow of my old self.
Anyone can tell me that I write nonsense. But this scene inspires me to finally pull myself together and be the person I used to be again. :)
